Ezequiel 30

1E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:

1The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

2Filho do homem, profetiza, e dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Gemei: Ah! Aquele dia!

2Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!

3Porque está perto o dia, sim, está perto o dia do Senhor; dia nublado; será o tempo dos gentios.

3For the day {is} near, even the day of the LORD {is} near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.

4A espada virá ao Egito, e haverá grande dor na Etiópia, quando caírem os traspassados no Egito; e tomarão a sua multidão, e serão destruídos os seus fundamentos.

4And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down. {pain: or, fear}

5Etiópia, Pute e Lude, e toda a mistura de gente, e Cube, e os homens da terra da liga, juntamente com eles cairão à espada.

5Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword. {Libya: Heb. Phut} {men: Heb. children}

6Assim diz o SENHOR: Também cairão os que sustém o Egito, e descerá a soberba de seu poder; desde a torre de Syene ali cairão à espada, diz o Senhor DEUS.

6Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD. {from...: or, from Migdol to Syene}

7E serão desolados no meio das terras assoladas; e as suas cidades estarão no meio das cidades desertas.

7And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries {that are} desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities {that are} wasted.

8E saberão que eu sou o Senhor, quando eu puser fogo no Egito, e forem destruídos todos os que lhe davam auxílio.

8And they shall know that I {am} the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and {when} all her helpers shall be destroyed. {destroyed: Heb. broken}

9Naquele dia sairão mensageiros de diante de mim em navios, para espantarem a Etiópia descuidada; e haverá neles grandes dores, como no dia do Egito; pois, eis que já vem.

9In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.

10Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eu, pois, farei cessar a multidão do Egito, por mão de Nabucodonosor, rei de babilônia.

10Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.

11Ele e o seu povo com ele, os mais terríveis das nações, serão levados para destruírem a terra; e desembainharão as suas espadas contra o Egito, e encherão a terra de mortos.

11He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.

12E secarei os rios, e venderei a terra entregando-a na mão dos maus, e assolarei a terra e a sua plenitude pela mão dos estrangeiros; eu, o Senhor, o disse.

12And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken {it}. {dry: Heb. drought} {all...: Heb. the fulness thereof}

13Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Também destruirei os ídolos, e farei cessar as imagens de Nofe; e não haverá mais um príncipe da terra do Egito; e porei o temor na terra do Egito.

13Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause {their} images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.

14E assolarei a Patros, e porei fogo a Zoã, e executarei juízos em Nô.

14And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No. {Zoan: or, Tanis}

15E derramarei o meu furor sobre Sim, a fortaleza do Egito, e exterminarei a multidão de Nô.

15And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No. {Sin: or, Pelusium}

16E porei fogo no Egito; Sim terá grande dor, e Nô será fendida, e Nofe terá angústias cotidianas.

16And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph {shall have} distresses daily.

17Os jovens de Áven e Pi-Besete cairão à espada, e as cidades irão em cativeiro.

17The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword: and these {cities} shall go into captivity. {Aven: or, Heliopolis} {Pibeseth: or, Pubastum}

18E em Tafnes se escurecerá o dia, quando eu quebrar ali os jugos do Egito, e nela cessar a soberba do seu poder; uma nuvem a cobrirá, e suas filhas irão em cativeiro.

18At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity. {darkened: or, restrained}

19Assim executarei juízos no Egito, e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.

19Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I {am} the LORD.

20E sucedeu que, no ano undécimo, no primeiro mês, aos sete do mês, veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

20And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first {month}, in the seventh {day} of the month, {that} the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

21Filho do homem, eu quebrei o braço de Faraó, rei do Egito, e eis que não foi atado para se lhe aplicar remédios, nem lhe colocarão ligaduras para o atar, a fim de torná-lo forte, para pegar na espada.

21Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.

22Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu estou contra Faraó, rei do Egito, e quebrarei os seus braços, assim o forte como o que está quebrado, e farei cair da sua mão a espada.

22Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I {am} against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

23E espalharei os egípcios entre as nações, e os dispersarei pelas terras.

23And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.

24E fortalecerei os braços do rei de babilônia, e porei a minha espada na sua mão; mas quebrarei os braços de Faraó, e diante dele gemerá como geme o traspassado.

24And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded {man}.

25Eu fortalecerei os braços do rei de babilônia, mas os braços de Faraó cairão; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, quando eu puser a minha espada na mão do rei de babilônia, e ele a estender sobre a terra do Egito.

25But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I {am} the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.

26E espalharei os egípcios entre as nações, e os dispersarei entre as terras; assim saberão que eu sou o Senhor.

26And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I {am} the LORD.
