Ezequiel 28

1E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:

1The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

2Filho do homem, dize ao príncipe de Tiro: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto o teu coração se elevou e disseste: Eu sou Deus, sobre a cadeira de Deus me assento no meio dos mares; e não passas de homem, e não és Deus, ainda que estimas o teu coração como se fora o coração de Deus;

2Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart {is} lifted up, and thou hast said, I {am} a God, I sit {in} the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou {art} a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: {midst: Heb. heart}

3Eis que tu és mais sábio que Daniel; e não há segredo algum que se possa esconder de ti.

3Behold, thou {art} wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:

4Pela tua sabedoria e pelo teu entendimento alcançaste para ti riquezas, e adquiriste ouro e prata nos teus tesouros.

4With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:

5Pela extensão da tua sabedoria no teu comércio aumentaste as tuas riquezas; e eleva-se o teu coração por causa das tuas riquezas;

5By thy great wisdom {and} by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: {thy great...: Heb. the greatness of thy wisdom}

6Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto estimas o teu coração, como se fora o coração de Deus,

6Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;

7Por isso eis que eu trarei sobre ti estrangeiros, os mais terríveis dentre as nações, os quais desembainharão as suas espadas contra a formosura da tua sabedoria, e mancharão o teu resplendor.

7Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.

8Eles te farão descer à cova e morrerás da morte dos traspassados no meio dos mares.

8They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of {them that are} slain in the midst of the seas.

9Acaso dirás ainda diante daquele que te matar: Eu sou Deus? mas tu és homem, e não Deus, na mão do que te traspassa.

9Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I {am} God? but thou {shalt be} a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee. {of him that slayeth: or, of him that woundeth}

10Da morte dos incircuncisos morrerás, por mão de estrangeiros, porque eu o falei, diz o Senhor DEUS.

10Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken {it}, saith the Lord GOD.

11Veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

11Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

12Filho do homem, levanta uma lamentação sobre o rei de Tiro, e dize-lhe: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Tu eras o selo da medida, cheio de sabedoria e perfeito em formosura.

12Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

13Estiveste no Éden, jardim de Deus; de toda a pedra preciosa era a tua cobertura: sardônia, topázio, diamante, turquesa, ônix, jaspe, safira, carbúnculo, esmeralda e ouro; em ti se faziam os teus tambores e os teus pífaros; no dia em que foste criado foram preparados.

13Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone {was} thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. {sardius: or, ruby} {beryl: or, chrysolite} {emerald: or, chrysoprase}

14Tu eras o querubim, ungido para cobrir, e te estabeleci; no monte santo de Deus estavas, no meio das pedras afogueadas andavas.

14Thou {art} the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee {so}: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15Perfeito eras nos teus caminhos, desde o dia em que foste criado, até que se achou iniqüidade em ti.

15Thou {wast} perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

16Na multiplicação do teu comércio encheram o teu interior de violência, e pecaste; por isso te lancei, profanado, do monte de Deus, e te fiz perecer, ó querubim cobridor, do meio das pedras afogueadas.

16By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17Elevou-se o teu coração por causa da tua formosura, corrompeste a tua sabedoria por causa do teu resplendor; por terra te lancei, diante dos reis te pus, para que olhem para ti.

17Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

18Pela multidão das tuas iniqüidades, pela injustiça do teu comércio profanaste os teus santuários; eu, pois, fiz sair do meio de ti um fogo, que te consumiu e te tornei em cinza sobre a terra, aos olhos de todos os que te vêem.

18Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

19Todos os que te conhecem entre os povos estão espantados de ti; em grande espanto te tornaste, e nunca mais subsistirá.

19All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never {shalt} thou {be} any more. {a terror: Heb. terrors}

20E veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

20Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

21Filho do homem, dirige o teu rosto contra Sidom, e profetiza contra ela,

21Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,

22E dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis-me contra ti, ó Sidom, e serei glorificado no meio de ti; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, quando nela executar juízos e nela me santificar.

22And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I {am} against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I {am} the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

23Porque enviarei contra ela a peste, e o sangue nas suas ruas, e os traspassados cairão no meio dela, estando a espada contra ela por todos os lados; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.

23For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I {am} the LORD.

24E a casa de Israel nunca mais terá espinho que a fira, nem espinho que cause dor, entre os que se acham ao redor deles e que os desprezam; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor DEUS.

24And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor {any} grieving thorn of all {that are} round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I {am} the Lord GOD.

25Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Quando eu congregar a casa de Israel dentre os povos entre os quais estão espalhados, e eu me santificar entre eles, perante os olhos dos gentios, então habitarão na sua terra que dei a meu servo, a Jacó.

25Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.

26E habitarão nela seguros, e edificarão casas, e plantarão vinhas, e habitarão seguros, quando eu executar juízos contra todos os que estão ao seu redor e que os desprezam; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor seu Deus.

26And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I {am} the LORD their God. {safely: or, with confidence} {despise: or, spoil}
