Ezequiel 23

1Veio mais a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:

1The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

2Filho do homem, houve duas mulheres, filhas de uma mesma mãe.

2Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:

3Estas se prostituíram no Egito; prostituíram-se na sua mocidade; ali foram apertados os seus seios, e ali foram apalpados os seios da sua virgindade.

3And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.

4E os seus nomes eram: Aolá, a mais velha, e Aolibá, sua irmã; e foram minhas, e tiveram filhos e filhas; e, quanto aos seus nomes, Samaria é Aolá, e Jerusalém é Aolibá.

4And the names of them {were} Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus {were} their names; Samaria {is} Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah. {Aholah: that is, His tent, or, tabernacle} {Aholibah: that is, My tabernacle in her}

5E prostituiu-se Aolá, sendo minha; e enamorou-se dos seus amantes, dos assírios, seus vizinhos,

5And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians {her} neighbours,

6Vestidos de azul, capitàes e magistrados, todos jovens cobiçáveis, cavaleiros montados a cavalo.

6{Which were} clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.

7Assim cometeu ela as suas devassidões com eles, que eram todos a flor dos filhos da Assíria, e com todos os de quem se enamorava; com todos os seus ídolos se contaminou.

7Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them {that were} the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself. {committed...: Heb. bestowed her whoredoms upon them} {the chosen...: Heb. the choice of the children of Asshur}

8E as suas prostituições, que trouxe do Egito, não as deixou; porque com ela se deitaram na sua mocidade, e eles apalparam os seios da sua virgindade, e derramaram sobre ela a sua impudicícia.

8Neither left she her whoredoms {brought} from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.

9Portanto a entreguei na mão dos seus amantes, na mão dos filhos da Assíria, de quem se enamorara.

9Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.

10Estes descobriram a sua vergonha, levaram seus filhos e suas filhas, mas a ela mataram à espada; e tornou-se falada entre as mulheres, e sobre ela executaram os juízos.

10These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her. {famous: Heb. a name}

11Vendo isto sua irmã Aolibá, corrompeu o seu imoderado amor mais do que ela, e as suas devassidões foram mais do que as de sua irmã.

11And when her sister Aholibah saw {this}, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in {her} whoredoms. {she was...: Heb. she corrupted her inordinate love more than, etc} {more than...: Heb. more than the whoredoms of her sister}

12Enamorou-se dos filhos da Assíria, dos capitàes e dos magistrados seus vizinhos, vestidos com primor, cavaleiros que andam montados em cavalos, todos jovens cobiçáveis.

12She doted upon the Assyrians {her} neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.

13E vi que se tinha contaminado; o caminho de ambas era o mesmo.

13Then I saw that she was defiled, {that} they {took} both one way,

14E aumentou as suas impudicícias, porque viu homens pintados na parede, imagens dos caldeus, pintadas de vermelho;

14And {that} she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion,

15Cingidos de cinto nos seus lombos, e tiaras largas e tingidas nas suas cabeças, todos com parecer de príncipes, semelhantes aos filhos de babilônia em Caldéia, terra do seu nascimento.

15Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:

16E enamorou-se deles, ao lançar sobre eles os seus olhos; e lhes mandou mensageiros à Caldéia.

16And as soon as she saw them with her eyes, she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea. {as soon...: Heb. at the sight of her eyes}

17Então vieram a ela os filhos de babilônia para o leito dos amores, e a contaminaram com as suas impudicícias; e ela se contaminou com eles; então a sua alma apartou-se deles.

17And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them. {Babylonians: Heb. children of Babel} {alienated: Heb. loosed, or, disjointed}

18Assim pôs a descoberto as suas devassidões, e descobriu a sua vergonha; então a minha alma se apartou dela, como já tinha se apartado a minha alma de sua irmã.

18So she discovered her whoredoms, and discovered her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, like as my mind was alienated from her sister.

19Todavia ela multiplicou as suas prostituições, lembrando-se dos dias da sua mocidade, em que se prostituíra na terra do Egito.

19Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

20E enamorou-se dos seus amantes, cuja carne é como a de jumentos, e cujo fluxo é como o de cavalos.

20For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh {is as} the flesh of asses, and whose issue {is like} the issue of horses.

21Assim trouxeste à memória a perversidade da tua mocidade, quando os do Egito apalpavam os teus seios, por causa dos peitos da tua mocidade.

21Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in bruising thy teats by the Egyptians for the paps of thy youth.

22Por isso, ó Aolibá, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu suscitarei contra ti os teus amantes, dos quais se tinha apartado a tua alma, e os trarei contra ti de toda a parte em derredor.

22Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;

23Os filhos de Babilônia, e todos os caldeus de Pecode, e de Soa, e de Coa, e todos os filhos da Assíria com eles, jovens cobiçáveis, capitàes e magistrados todos eles, grandes e afamados senhores, todos eles montados a cavalo.

23The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, {and} all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.

24E virão contra ti com carros, carretas e rodas, e com multidão de povos; e se colocarão contra ti em redor com paveses, e escudos e capacetes; e porei diante deles o juízo, e julgar-te-ão segundo os seus juízos.

24And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, {which} shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.

25E porei contra ti o meu zelo, e usarão de indignação contigo. Tirar-te-ão o nariz e as orelhas, e o que restar cairá à espada. Eles tomarão teus filhos e tuas filhas, e o que ficar por último em ti será consumido pelo fogo.

25And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.

26Também te despirão as tuas vestes, e te tomarão as tuas belas jóias.

26They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels. {fair...: Heb. instruments of thy decking}

27Assim farei cessar em ti a tua perversidade e a tua prostituição trazida da terra do Egito; e não levantarás os teus olhos para eles, nem te lembrarás nunca mais do Egito.

27Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom {brought} from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.

28Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu te entregarei na mão dos que odeias, na mão daqueles de quem tem se apartado a tua alma.

28For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand {of them} whom thou hatest, into the hand {of them} from whom thy mind is alienated:

29E eles te tratarão com ódio, e levarão todo o fruto do teu trabalho, e te deixarão nua e despida; e descobrir-se-á a vergonha da tua prostituição, e a tua perversidade, e as tuas devassidões.

29And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

30Estas coisas se te farão, porque te prostituíste após os gentios, e te contaminaste com os seus ídolos.

30I will do these {things} unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, {and} because thou art polluted with their idols.

31No caminho de tua irmã andaste; por isso entregarei o seu cálice na tua mão.

31Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.

32Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Beberás o cálice de tua irmã, fundo e largo; servirás de riso e escárnio; pois nele cabe muito.

32Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

33De embriaguez e de dor te encherás; o cálice de tua irmã Samaria é cálice de espanto e de assolação.

33Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.

34Bebê-lo-ás, pois, e esgotá-lo-ás, e os seus cacos roerás, e os teus seios arrancarás; porque eu o falei, diz o Senhor DEUS.

34Thou shalt even drink it and suck {it} out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken {it}, saith the Lord GOD.

35Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Como te esqueceste de mim, e me lançaste para trás das tuas costas, também carregarás com a tua perversidade e as tuas devassidões.

35Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

36Disse-me ainda o Senhor: Filho do homem, porventura julgarás tu a Aolá e a Aolibá? Mostra-lhes, pois, as suas abominações.

36The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations; {judge: or, plead for}

37Porque adulteraram, e sangue se acha nas suas mãos, e com os seus ídolos adulteraram, e até os seus filhos, que de mim geraram, fizeram passar pelo fogo, para os consumir.

37That they have committed adultery, and blood {is} in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through {the fire}, to devour {them}.

38E ainda isto me fizeram: contaminaram o meu santuário no mesmo dia, e profanaram os meus sábados.

38Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.

39Porquanto, havendo sacrificado seus filhos aos seus ídolos, vinham ao meu santuário no mesmo dia para o profanarem; e eis que assim fizeram no meio da minha casa.

39For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.

40E, mais ainda, mandaram vir alguns homens, de longe, aos quais fora enviado um mensageiro, e eis que vieram. Por amor deles te lavaste, coloriste os teus olhos, e te ornaste de enfeites.

40And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger {was} sent; and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy eyes, and deckedst thyself with ornaments, {to come: Heb. coming}

41E te assentaste sobre um leito de honra, diante do qual estava uma mesa preparada; e puseste sobre ela o meu incenso e o meu azeite.

41And satest upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou hast set mine incense and mine oil. {stately: Heb. honourable}

42Com ela se ouvia a voz de uma multidão satisfeita; com homens de classe baixa foram trazidos beberrões do deserto; e puseram braceletes nas mãos das mulheres e coroas de esplendor nas suas cabeças.

42And a voice of a multitude being at ease {was} with her: and with the men of the common sort {were} brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads. {of the...: Heb. of the multitude of men} {Sabeans: or, drunkards}

43Então disse à envelhecida em adultérios: Agora deveras se prostituirão com ela, e ela com eles?

43Then said I unto {her that was} old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she {with them}? {whoredoms...: Heb. her whoredoms}

44E entraram a ela, como quem entra a uma prostituta; assim entraram a Aolá e a Aolibá, mulheres infames.

44Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.

45De maneira que homens justos as julgarão como se julgam as adúlteras, e como se julgam as que derramam sangue; porque são adúlteras, e sangue há nas suas mãos.

45And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they {are} adulteresses, and blood {is} in their hands.

46Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Farei subir contra elas uma multidão, e as entregarei ao desterro e ao saque.

46For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled. {to be...: Heb. for a removing and spoil}

47E a multidão as apedrejará, e as golpeará com as suas espadas; eles a seus filhos e a suas filhas matarão, e as suas casas queimarão a fogo.

47And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire. {dispatch...: or, single them out}

48Assim farei cessar a perversidade da terra, para que se escarmentem todas as mulheres, e não façam conforme a vossa perversidade;

48Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.

49O castigo da vossa perversidade eles farão recair sobre vós, e levareis os pecados dos vossos ídolos; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor DEUS.

49And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I {am} the Lord GOD.
