Êxodo 40

1Falou mais o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2No primeiro mês, no primeiro dia do mês, levantarás o tabernáculo da tenda da congregação,

2On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

3E porás nele a arca do testemunho, e cobrirás a arca com o véu.

3And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.

4Depois colocarás nele a mesa, e porás em ordem o que se deve pôr em ordem nela; também colocarás nele o candelabro, e acenderás as suas lâmpadas.

4And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof. {the things...: Heb. the order thereof}

5E porás o altar de ouro para o incenso diante da arca do testemunho; então pendurarás a cortina da porta do tabernáculo.

5And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.

6Porás também o altar do holocausto diante da porta do tabernáculo da tenda da congregação.

6And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

7E porás a pia entre a tenda da congregação e o altar, e nela porás água.

7And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.

8Depois porás o pátio ao redor, e pendurarás a cortina à porta do pátio.

8And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.

9Então tomarás o azeite da unção, e ungirás o tabernáculo, e tudo o que há nele; e o santificarás com todos os seus pertences, e será santo.

9And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that {is} therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.

10Ungirás também o altar do holocausto, e todos os seus utensílios; e santificarás o altar; e o altar será santíssimo.

10And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy. {most holy: Heb. holiness of holinesses}

11Então ungirás a pia e a sua base, e a santificarás.

11And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.

12Farás também chegar a Arão e a seus filhos à porta da tenda da congregação; e os lavarás com água.

12And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

13E vestirás a Arão as vestes santas, e o ungirás, e o santificarás, para que me administre o sacerdócio.

13And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

14Também farás chegar a seus filhos, e lhes vestirás as túnicas,

14And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:

15E os ungirás como ungiste a seu pai, para que me administrem o sacerdócio, e a sua unção lhes será por sacerdócio perpétuo nas suas gerações.

15And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

16E Moisés fez conforme a tudo o que o Senhor lhe ordenou, assim o fez.

16Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.

17Assim, no primeiro mês, no ano segundo, ao primeiro dia do mês foi levantado o tabernáculo.

17And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first {day} of the month, {that} the tabernacle was reared up.

18Moisés levantou o tabernáculo, e pôs as suas bases, e armou as suas tábuas, e colocou nele os seus varais, e levantou as suas colunas;

18And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.

19E estendeu a tenda sobre o tabernáculo, e pôs a cobertura da tenda sobre ela, em cima, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.

19And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

20Tomou o testemunho, e pô-lo na arca, e colocou os varais na arca; e pôs o propiciatório em cima da arca.

20And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:

21E introduziu a arca no tabernáculo, e pendurou o véu da cobertura, e cobriu a arca do testemunho, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.

21And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.

22pôs também a mesa na tenda da congregação, ao lado do tabernáculo, para o norte, fora do véu,

22And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.

23E sobre ela pôs em ordem o pão perante o Senhor, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.

23And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.

24pôs também na tenda da congregação o candelabro na frente da mesa, ao lado do tabernáculo, para o sul,

24And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

25E acendeu as lâmpadas perante o Senhor, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.

25And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

26E pôs o altar de ouro na tenda da congregação, diante do véu,

26And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:

27E acendeu sobre ele o incenso de especiarias aromáticas, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.

27And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses.

28Pendurou também a cortina da porta do tabernáculo,

28And he set up the hanging {at} the door of the tabernacle.

29E pôs o altar do holocausto à porta do tabernáculo da tenda da congregação, e sobre ele ofereceu holocausto e oferta de alimentos, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.

29And he put the altar of burnt offering {by} the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.

30Pôs também a pia entre a tenda da congregação e o altar, e nela pôs água para lavar.

30And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash {withal}.

31E Moisés, e Arão e seus filhos nela lavaram as suas mãos e os seus pés.

31And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:

32Quando entravam na tenda da congregação, e quando chegavam ao altar, lavavam-se, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.

32When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.

33Levantou também o pátio ao redor do tabernáculo e do altar, e pendurou a cortina da porta do pátio. Assim Moisés acabou a obra.

33And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

34Então a nuvem cobriu a tenda da congregação, e a glória do Senhor encheu o tabernáculo;

34Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

35De maneira que Moisés não podia entrar na tenda da congregação, porquanto a nuvem permanecia sobre ela, e a glória do Senhor enchia o tabernáculo.

35And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

36Quando, pois, a nuvem se levantava de sobre o tabernáculo, então os filhos de Israel caminhavam em todas as suas jornadas.

36And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: {went onward: Heb. journeyed}

37Se a nuvem, porém, não se levantava, não caminhavam, até ao dia em que ela se levantasse;

37But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

38Porquanto a nuvem do Senhor estava de dia sobre o tabernáculo, e o fogo estava de noite sobre ele, perante os olhos de toda a casa de Israel, em todas as suas jornadas.

38For the cloud of the LORD {was} upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
