Evangelho de Pedro 10

1Enquanto se encontravam ainda confabulando entre si, novamente apareceram os céus abertos e um homem desceu e entrou no sepulcro.

1While they were still conferring among themselves, again the heavens appeared open and a man descended and entered the sepulcher.

2Os que estavam junto ao centurião, vendo isso, apressaram-se a ir a Pilatos ainda de noite, abandonando o sepulcro que custodiavam.

2Those who were with the centurion, seeing this, hastened to go to Pilate while it was still night, abandoning the sepulcher they were guarding.

3Cheios de agitação, contaram o quanto haviam visto, dizendo: 'Era verdadeiramente o filho de Deus.'

3Full of agitation, they told all that they had seen, saying: 'He was truly the son of God.'

4Pilatos respondeu desta maneira: 'Estou limpo do sangue do Filho de Deus. Fostes vós que assim quisestes.'

4Pilate responded in this manner: 'I am clean of the blood of the Son of God. It was you who wanted it this way.'

5Depois, todos se aproximaram e lhe pediram encarecidamente que ordenasse ao centurião e aos soldados que guardassem segredo sobre o que havia visto.

5Then they all approached and asked him earnestly that he order the centurion and the soldiers to keep secret what they had seen.

6Pilatos ordenou ao centurião e aos soldados que não dissessem nada.

6Pilate ordered the centurion and the soldiers to say nothing.
