Evangelho de Nicodemos 6

1Um certo judeu de nome Nicodemus pôs-se diante do governador e disse: 'Rogo-te, permita-me dizer umas palavras.'

1A certain Jew named Nicodemus stood before the governor and said: 'I beg you, permit me to say a few words.'

2E Nicodemus disse: 'Este homem opera muitos milagres e prodígios como nenhum outro foi nem será capaz de fazer.'

2And Nicodemus said: 'This man works many miracles and wonders such as no one else has been nor will be able to do.'

3'Deixai-o em paz e não trameis nada contra ele; se os seus prodígios têm origem divina, permanecerão firmes.'

3'Leave him in peace and plot nothing against him; if his wonders are of divine origin, they will remain firm.'

4Os judeus disseram: 'Tu te fizeste discípulo dele e por isso falas em seu favor.'

4The Jews said: 'You have become his disciple and therefore you speak in his favor.'

5Nicodemus disse: 'Mas então também o governador fez-se discípulo dele porque fala em sua defesa?'

5Nicodemus said: 'Then has the governor also become his disciple because he speaks in his defense?'

6Um judeu que estivera paralítico por 38 anos testemunhou: 'Jesus disse-me: Pega tua maca e anda. E comecei a andar.'

6A Jew who had been paralyzed for 38 years testified: 'Jesus said to me: Pick up your mat and walk. And I began to walk.'

7Outro disse: 'Eu era cego de nascença e Jesus impôs suas mãos sobre os meus olhos e imediatamente recuperei a visão.'

7Another said: 'I was blind from birth and Jesus laid his hands upon my eyes and immediately I recovered my sight.'
