Evangelho de Nicodemos 12

1E o povo entoou um hino: 'Bendito o Senhor, que proporcionou descanso ao povo de Israel.'

1And the people sang a hymn: 'Blessed be the Lord, who provided rest to the people of Israel.'

2'Que siga ao nosso lado o Senhor nosso Deus da mesma maneira que estava do lado dos nossos pais.'

2'May the Lord our God follow at our side in the same way he was at the side of our fathers.'

3'Naquele dia o Senhor será rei sobre toda a terra; não haverá outro ao seu lado.'

3'On that day the Lord will be king over all the earth; there will be no other beside him.'

4'Sois grande, Senhor, e grande o teu nome. Cura-nos pela tua virtude e seremos curados.'

4'You are great, Lord, and great is your name. Heal us by your power and we shall be healed.'

5'Salva-nos, Senhor, e seremos salvos, pois somos tua pequena parte e tua herança.'

5'Save us, Lord, and we shall be saved, for we are your small portion and your inheritance.'

6'O Senhor não abandonará jamais o seu povo pela magnitude do seu nome.'

6'The Lord will never abandon his people because of the greatness of his name.'

7E cada qual foi para casa dando graças a Deus, porque aquele dia permanece por todos os séculos dos séculos. Amém.

7And each one went to his house giving thanks to God, because that day remains for all ages of ages. Amen.
