1Levi o doutor disse: 'Quando Jesus nasceu, o doutor Simeão disse: Meus olhos viram tua salvação.'

1Levi the doctor said: 'When Jesus was born, the doctor Simeon said: My eyes have seen your salvation.'

2'Este foi colocado para a queda e ressurreição de muitos em Israel e para ser um sinal de contradição.'

2'This one was appointed for the fall and rising of many in Israel and to be a sign of contradiction.'

3Os arquissinagogos enviaram mensageiros à Galiléia para confirmar os testemunhos.

3The rulers of the synagogues sent messengers to Galilee to confirm the testimonies.

4Os três mestres Adas, Finees e Ageu confirmaram: 'Vimos Jesus no monte Mamilch e sua ascensão ao céu.'

4The three masters Adas, Phinees and Haggai confirmed: 'We saw Jesus on Mount Mamilch and his ascension to heaven.'

5Anás disse: 'Separemo-los e vejamos se suas declarações coincidem.' E os três deram o mesmo testemunho.

5Annas said: 'Let us separate them and see if their statements coincide.' And the three gave the same testimony.

6Anás e Caifás disseram: 'Nós vimos Jesus receber bofetadas, ser flagelado e crucificado. Mas agora dizem que vive na Galiléia.'

6Annas and Caiaphas said: 'We saw Jesus receive blows, be scourged and crucified. But now they say he lives in Galilee.'

7E todos os doutores disseram: 'Se sua memória perdurar, sabei que seu domínio será eterno.'

7And all the doctors said: 'If his memory endures, know that his dominion will be eternal.'
