Evangelho de Madalena 4

1E ela começou a falar: 'Eu tive uma visão do Senhor e contei a Ele: Mestre, apareceste-me hoje numa visão.'

1And she began to speak: 'I had a vision of the Lord and I said to him: Master, you appeared to me today in a vision.'

2Ele respondeu: 'Bem aventurada sejas, por não teres fraquejado ao me ver. Pois, onde está a mente há um tesouro.'

2He answered: 'Blessed are you, for not having wavered at seeing me. For where the mind is there is a treasure.'

3Eu lhe disse: 'Mestre, aquele que tem uma visão vê com a alma ou como espírito?'

3I said to him: 'Master, does he who has a vision see with the soul or as spirit?'

4Jesus respondeu: 'Não vê nem com a alma nem com o espírito, mas com a consciência, que está entre ambos.'

4Jesus answered: 'He sees neither with the soul nor with the spirit, but with consciousness, which is between both.'

5A alma respondeu ao desejo: 'Eu te vi. Não me viste, nem me reconheceste.'

5The soul answered desire: 'I saw you. You did not see me, nor did you recognize me.'

6'Usaste-me como acessório e não me reconheceste.'

6'You used me as adornment and you did not recognize me.'

7Depois de dizer isso, a alma foi embora, exultante de alegria.

7After saying this, the soul went away, exultant with joy.
