Epístola de Barnabé 21

1É bom, portanto, tendo aprendido os decretos do Senhor, andar neles.

1It is good, therefore, having learned the decrees of the Lord, to walk in them.

2Porque quem faz estas coisas será glorificado no reino de Deus.

2For he who does these things shall be glorified in the kingdom of God.

3E quem escolhe as outras coisas perecerá junto com suas obras.

3And he who chooses the other things shall perish together with his works.

4Para isso há ressurreição, para isso há recompensa.

4For this there is resurrection, for this there is recompense.

5Suplico aos que estão em posição elevada, se aceitarem meu conselho bem-intencionado.

5I beseech those who are in high position, if you will accept my well-intended counsel.

6Tende entre vós aqueles a quem possais fazer bem. Não cesseis.

6Have among you those to whom you can do good. Do not cease.

7O dia está próximo em que todas as coisas perecerão junto com o maligno.

7The day is near in which all things shall perish together with the evil one.

8O Senhor está próximo e sua recompensa.

8The Lord is near and his reward.
