Epístola dos Apóstolos 9

1A respeito do qual testificamos que o Senhor é aquele que foi crucificado por Pôncio Pilatos e Arquelau entre os dois salteadores, e foi sepultado num lugar que se chama o Lugar da Caveira. E para lá foram três mulheres, Maria, a parenta de Marta, e Maria Madalena, e levaram unguentos para derramar sobre o corpo, chorando e lamentando sobre o que tinha acontecido. E quando se aproximaram do sepulcro, olharam para dentro e não acharam o corpo.

1Concerning whom we testify that the Lord is he who was crucified by Pontius Pilate and Archelaus between the two thieves (and with them he was taken down from the tree of the cross, Eth.), and was buried in a place which is called the place of a skull (Kranion). And thither went three women, Mary, she that was kin to Martha, and Mary Magdalene (Sarrha, Martha, and Mary, Eth.), and took ointments to pour upon the body, weeping and mourning over that which was come to pass. And when they drew near to the sepulchre, they looked in and found not the body (Eth. they found the stone rolled away and opened the entrance).
