1Cerinto e Simão vieram para andar de um lado para outro no mundo, mas são inimigos de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, porquanto pervertem a palavra e a verdade, a saber, a fé em Jesus Cristo. Guardai-vos, pois, longe deles, porque neles há morte, e grande corrupção e contaminação, sim, sobre estes aos quais sobrevirá o juízo, e o fim, e a eterna perdição.

1Cerinthus and Simon are come to go to and fro in the world, but they are enemies of our Lord Jesus Christ, for they do pervert the word and the true thing, even (faith in) Jesus Christ. Keep yourselves therefore far from them, for death is in them, and great pollution and corruption, even in these on whom shall come judgement and the end and everlasting destruction.
