Epístola dos Apóstolos 12

1E nós o tocamos, para que conhecêssemos com certeza se havia ressuscitado na carne; e caímos sobre os nossos rostos, confessando o nosso pecado de termos sido incrédulos. Então nosso Senhor e Salvador disse-nos: Levantai-vos, e eu vos revelarei o que está acima do céu e no céu, e o vosso repouso que está no reino dos céus. Porque meu Pai me deu poder para vos levar para lá, e também àqueles que creem em mim.

1And we touched him, that we might learn of a truth whether he were risen in the flesh; and we fell on our faces (and worshipped him) confessing our sin, that we had been unbelieving. Then said our Lord and Saviour unto us: Rise up, and I will reveal unto you that which is above the heaven and in the heaven, and your rest which is in the kingdom of heaven. For my Father hath given me power (sent me, Eth.) to take you up thither, and them also that believe on me.
