Epístola dos Apóstolos 1

1O livro que Jesus Cristo revelou aos seus discípulos; e como Jesus Cristo revelou o livro para o colégio dos apóstolos, os discípulos de Jesus Cristo, sim, o livro que é para todos os homens. Simão e Cerinto, os falsos apóstolos, acerca dos quais está escrito que nenhum homem se apegue a eles, porquanto há neles engano com que levam os homens à perdição. O livro foi escrito para que não vacileis nem vos perturbeis, e não vos aparteis da palavra do Evangelho que ouvistes. Assim como o ouvimos, nós o guardamos na memória e o escrevemos para todo o mundo. Recomendamo-vos, nossos filhos e nossas filhas, com alegria na graça de Deus, em nome de Deus o Pai, o Senhor do mundo, e de Jesus Cristo. Seja a graça multiplicada sobre vós.

1The book which Jesus Christ revealed unto his disciples: and how that Jesus Christ revealed the book for the company (college) of the apostles, the disciples of Jesus Christ, even the book which is for all men. Simon and Cerinthus, the false apostles, concerning whom it is written that no man shall cleave unto them, for there is in them deceit wherewith they bring men to destruction. (The book hath been written) that ye may be not flinch nor be troubled, and depart not from the word of the Gospel which ye have heard. Like as we heard it, we keep it in remembrance and have written it for the whole world. We commend you our sons and our daughters in joy in the grace of God (?) in the name of God the Father the Lord of the world, and of Jesus Christ. Let grace be multiplied upon you.
