1E agora dai-me ouvidos, todos vós que entrastes na aliança, e eu vos revelarei os caminhos dos ímpios.

1And now hearken unto me all ye who have entered into the covenant, And I will disclose to you the ways of the wicked.

2Deus ama a sabedoria; e pôs diante de Si o conselho; a prudência e o conhecimento O servem.

2God loveth wisdom: And counsel He hath set before Him; Prudence and knowledge minister unto Him.

3A longanimidade está com Ele, e a abundância de perdões, para perdoar àqueles que se arrependem da transgressão.

3Longsuffering is with Him And plenteousness of forgivenesses To pardon those who repent of transgression.

4Mas poder, força e grande furor com chamas de fogo, onde estão todos os anjos de destruição, são para aqueles que se desviam do caminho e abominam o estatuto,

4And power and might and great fury with flames of fire therein are all the angels of destruction For them who turned aside out of the way, And abhorred the statute,

5de modo que não haja para eles remanescente, nem quem escape dentre eles.

5So that there should be no remnant, nor any to escape of them.

6Pois Deus não os escolheu desde o princípio do mundo, e antes que fossem formados conheceu as suas obras.

6For God chose them not from the beginning of the world, And ere they were formed He knew their works.

7E abominou as suas gerações desde a antiguidade, e escondeu o Seu rosto da sua terra até que fossem consumidos.

7And He abhorred their generations from of old, And hid His face from their land till they were consumed.

8E Ele conheceu os anos do seu encargo e o número e a exata declaração dos seus períodos para todas as coisas que pertencem às eras e que existiram, bem como tudo o que há de acontecer nos seus períodos por todos os anos da eternidade.

8And He knew the years of their office and the number and exact statement of their periods for all the things that belong to the ages and have been, moreover whatsoever shall come to pass in their periods for all the years of eternity.

9Contudo, em todos eles suscitou para Si homens chamados pelo nome, a fim de deixar um remanescente sobre a terra e encher a face da terra com a sua semente.

9Yet in all of them He raised Him up men called by name, In order to leave a remnant to the earth, And to fill the face of the earth with their seed.

10E por meio do Seu Messias Ele lhes fará conhecer o Seu Espírito Santo; e Ele é verdadeiro, e na verdadeira interpretação do Seu nome estão os seus nomes; mas àqueles a quem odiou, fê-los desviar.

10And through His Messiah He shall make them know His holy spirit. And he is true, and in the true interpretation of his name are their names: But them He hated He made to go astray.
