1E o regulamento dos moradores de todos os acampamentos é:

1And the regulation of the dwellers of all the camps is:

2Eles serão numerados todos pelos seus nomes: os sacerdotes primeiro, os levitas em segundo lugar, os filhos de Israel em terceiro lugar, e o prosélito em quarto lugar.

2They shall be numbered all by their names, the Priests first, the Levites second, the children of Israel third, and the proselyte fourth.

3E serão registrados pelos seus nomes, um após outro: os sacerdotes primeiro, os levitas em segundo, os filhos de Israel em terceiro, e o prosélito em quarto.

3And they shall be recorded by their names one after another, the Priests first, the Levites second, the children of Israel third, and the proselyte fourth.

4E assim se assentarão e assim perguntarão acerca de todo assunto.

4And so they shall be seated and so they shall ask with regard to every matter.

5E o sacerdote que conta a multidão terá de trinta anos até sessenta anos de idade, instruído no Livro de Hagu e em todos os juízos da Lei, para os dirigir segundo as suas decisões.

5And the Priest who numbers the many shall be from thirty years old even unto sixty years old, learned in the Book of the Hagu and in all the judgements of the Law to direct them according to their judgments.

6E o Censor que está sobre todos os acampamentos terá de trinta anos até cinquenta anos de idade, mestre em todo conselho dos homens e em toda língua…

6And the Censor who is over all the camps shall be from thirty years old even unto fifty years old, a master in every counsel of men, and in every tongue…

7Segundo a sua palavra entrarão os que forem admitidos na congregação, cada homem na sua devida ordem.

7According to his word shall come in those who enter the congregation every man in his due order.

8E quanto a qualquer matéria sobre a qual for necessário que algum homem fale, falará ao Censor a respeito de qualquer pleito ou causa.

8And as regards any matter on which it shall be incumbent for any man to speak, he shall speak to the Censor in regard to any suit or cause.
