1E este é o regulamento do Censor do acampamento: Ele instruirá a congregação nas obras de Deus, e lhes fará entender os Seus maravilhosos atos poderosos, e narrará diante deles os acontecimentos do mundo desde a sua criação.

1And this is the regulation of the Censor of the camp. He shall instruct the many in the works of God, and shall make them understand His wondrous mighty acts, and shall narrate before them the things of the world since its creation.

2E terá misericórdia deles como um pai sobre os seus filhos, e perdoará a todos os que tiverem incorrido em culpa.

2And he shall have mercy upon them as a father upon his children, and shall forgive all that have incurred guilt.

3Como um pastor com o seu rebanho, ele soltará todas as ataduras dos seus laços… os oprimidos e esmagados na sua congregação.

3As a shepherd with his flock he shall loose all the bonds of their knots… oppressed and crushed in his congregation.

4E a todo aquele que se juntar à sua congregação, ele o avaliará segundo as suas obras, o seu entendimento, o seu poder, a sua força e as suas riquezas.

4And every one who joins his congregation, he shall reckon him according to his works, his understanding, his might, his strength, and his wealth.

5E eles o registrarão no seu lugar em conformidade com a sua posição no quinhão do acampamento.

5And they shall record him in his place in accordance with his position in a lot of the camp.

6Nenhum homem dos filhos do acampamento terá poder para introduzir alguém na congregação sem a palavra do Censor do acampamento.

6No man of the children of the camp shall have power to bring a man into the congregation without the word of the Censor of the camp.

7Nem homem algum daqueles que entraram na aliança de Deus fará negócios com os filhos da cova, a não ser mão a mão.

7Nor shall any man of them who have entered into the covenant of God do business with the children of the pit unless hand to hand.

8Nenhum homem fará coisa alguma de compra e venda sem que tenha falado ao Censor do acampamento, e fará isso no acampamento e não… e assim àquele que rejeitar… eles, e aquele que não estiver unido com…

8No man shall do a thing as buying and selling unless he has spoken to the Censor of the camp, and he shall do it in the camp and not… and so to him who casts forth… they, and he who is not connected with…

9E este é o assentamento dos acampamentos.

9And this is the settlement of the camps.

10Nem todos conseguirão se estabelecer na terra…

10All shall not succeed to settle in the land…

11que não vieram desde o dia em que Efraim se separou de Judá.

11that have not come from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah.

12E quanto a todos os que andam nestas coisas, a aliança de Deus permanece firme para com eles, para os salvar de todos os laços da cova; porque de repente….

12And as for all who walk in these the covenant of God standeth fast unto them to save them from all the snares of the pit, for suddenly….
