Documento de Damasco 15

1A ordenança para os moradores das cidades de Israel, segundo estes juízos, para que se faça diferença entre o imundo e o limpo, e se dê a conhecer a distinção entre o santo e o profano.

1The regulation of the dwellers in the cities of Israel, according to these judgments, that a difference may be made between the unclean and the clean, and to make known the difference between the holy and the common.

2E estes estatutos existem para dar instrução a fim de que toda a nação ande neles segundo a Lei sempre.

2And these statutes are to give instruction so that the whole nation may walk in them according to the Law always.

3E segundo esta lei andará a descendência de Israel, e não serão amaldiçoados.

3And according to this law shall walk the seed of Israel, and they shall not be cursed.

4E este é o regulamento dos moradores pelo qual devem agir durante o período da impiedade, até que surja o Messias de Arão e de Israel, reunindo pelo menos dez homens, até milhares, centenas, cinquentas e dezenas.

4And this is the regulation of the dwellers according to which they should act during the period of the wickedness until there arises the Messiah from Aaron and Israel, up to ten men at least, to thousands and hundreds and fifties and tens.

5E quando se reunirem dez, o homem que for sacerdote instruído no Livro de Hagu não se afastará; segundo a sua palavra todos serão governados.

5And when there arise ten, the man who is a priest learned in the Book of the Hagu shall not depart. According to his word shall they all be ruled.

6E se ele não for perito em todas estas coisas, mas um homem dos levitas for perito nelas, caberá por sorte que todos os que entram no acampamento saiam e entrem conforme a sua palavra.

6And if he is not expert in all these, but a man of the Levites is expert in these, the lot shall be that all those that enter into the camp shall go out and come in according to his word.

7E se houver julgamento referente à lei da lepra em um homem, então o sacerdote virá e se porá no acampamento, e o Censor o instruirá no verdadeiro sentido da lei.

7And if there be a judgment regarding the law of leprosy which is in a man, then the priest shall come and stand in the camp, and the Censor shall instruct him in the true meaning of the law.

8E mesmo que lhe falte entendimento, ele o encerrará; porque aos sacerdotes pertence o julgamento.

8And even if he is lacking in understanding he shall shut him up; for unto them is the judgment.
