Didaquê 9

1Quanto à Eucaristia, dai graças assim. Primeiro, quanto ao cálice:

1Concerning the Eucharist, give thanks thus. First, concerning the cup:

2Nós te damos graças, nosso Pai, pela santa vinha de Davi, Teu servo, que nos fizeste conhecer por meio de Jesus, Teu Servo. A Ti a glória para sempre.

2We give thanks to Thee, our Father, for the holy vine of David Thy servant, which Thou didst make known to us through Jesus Thy Servant. To Thee be glory forever.

3E quanto ao pão partido: Nós te damos graças, nosso Pai, pela vida e conhecimento que nos fizeste conhecer por meio de Jesus, Teu Servo. A Ti a glória para sempre.

3And concerning the broken bread: We give thanks to Thee, our Father, for the life and knowledge which Thou didst make known to us through Jesus Thy Servant. To Thee be glory forever.

4Assim como este pão partido estava espalhado pelas colinas, e tendo sido recolhido se tornou um, assim seja a Tua Igreja reunida dos confins da terra no Teu reino.

4As this broken bread was scattered over the hills, and having been gathered together became one, so may Thy Church be gathered together from the ends of the earth into Thy kingdom.

5Porque Tua é a glória e o poder por Jesus Cristo para sempre.

5For Thine is the glory and the power through Jesus Christ forever.

6Mas ninguém coma ou beba da vossa Eucaristia, a não ser os batizados em nome do Senhor; pois também sobre isto o Senhor disse: 'Não deis o que é santo aos cães.'

6But let no one eat or drink of your Eucharist except those baptized in the name of the Lord; for concerning this also the Lord said: 'Do not give what is holy to dogs.'
