Didaquê 15

1Escolhei, portanto, para vós bispos e diáconos dignos do Senhor, homens mansos, e não amantes do dinheiro, e verdadeiros e provados.

1Choose, therefore, for yourselves bishops and deacons worthy of the Lord, men who are meek, and not lovers of money, and true and proven.

2Pois eles também vos prestam o serviço dos profetas e mestres. Portanto, não os desprezeis, pois eles são vossos honrados, juntamente com os profetas e mestres.

2For they also render to you the service of the prophets and teachers. Therefore, do not despise them, for they are your honored ones, together with the prophets and teachers.

3E repreendei-vos uns aos outros, não em ira, mas em paz, como tendes no Evangelho.

3And reprove one another, not in anger, but in peace, as you have in the Gospel.

4Mas a todo aquele que age mal contra outro, ninguém lhe fale, nem ouça nada dele, até que se arrependa.

4But to everyone who acts wrongly against another, let no one speak to him, nor let him hear anything from you, until he repents.

5E vossas orações e esmolas e todas as vossas ações, fazei-as como tendes no Evangelho de nosso Senhor.

5And your prayers and alms and all your actions, do as you have in the Gospel of our Lord.
