Didaquê 11

1Quem quer que venha e vos ensinar todas estas coisas que foram ditas antes, recebei-o.

1Whoever comes and teaches you all these things said before, receive him.

2Mas se o próprio mestre se desviar e ensinar outra doutrina para destruir, não o ouçais.

2But if the teacher himself turns aside and teaches another doctrine to destroy, do not listen to him.

3Mas se ele ensina para aumentar a justiça e o conhecimento do Senhor, recebei-o como ao Senhor.

3But if he teaches to increase righteousness and knowledge of the Lord, receive him as the Lord.

4E quanto aos apóstolos e profetas, agi de acordo com o decreto do Evangelho.

4And concerning the apostles and prophets, act according to the decree of the Gospel.

5Todo apóstolo que vem a vós seja recebido como o Senhor. Mas ele não permanecerá mais de um dia; ou dois, se houver necessidade. Se permanecer três dias, é falso profeta.

5Let every apostle who comes to you be received as the Lord. But he shall not remain more than one day; or two, if there is need. If he remains three days, he is a false prophet.

6E quando o apóstolo partir, não leve nada senão pão até que encontre hospedagem. Se pedir dinheiro, é falso profeta.

6And when the apostle departs, let him take nothing but bread until he finds lodging. If he asks for money, he is a false prophet.

7E todo profeta que fala no Espírito não o tentareis nem julgareis; pois todo pecado será perdoado, mas este pecado não será perdoado.

7And every prophet who speaks in the Spirit you shall not test nor judge; for every sin shall be forgiven, but this sin shall not be forgiven.

8Mas nem todo aquele que fala no Espírito é profeta; mas apenas se tiver os modos do Senhor. Assim pelos seus modos será conhecido o falso profeta e o profeta.

8But not everyone who speaks in the Spirit is a prophet; but only if he has the ways of the Lord. So by their ways shall the false prophet and the prophet be known.
