Didaquê 10

1Depois de satisfeitos, dai graças assim:

1After being satisfied, give thanks thus:

2Nós te damos graças, Pai santo, pelo Teu santo nome, que fizeste habitar em nossos corações, e pelo conhecimento e fé e imortalidade que nos fizeste conhecer por meio de Jesus, Teu Servo. A Ti a glória para sempre.

2We give thanks to Thee, holy Father, for Thy holy name, which Thou didst make to dwell in our hearts, and for the knowledge and faith and immortality which Thou didst make known to us through Jesus Thy Servant. To Thee be glory forever.

3Tu, Senhor todopoderoso, criaste todas as coisas por amor do Teu nome; deste comida e bebida aos homens para seu gozo, para que te dessem graças.

3Thou, Lord Almighty, didst create all things for Thy name's sake; Thou didst give food and drink to men for enjoyment, that they might give thanks to Thee.

4Mas a nós deste gratuitamente comida e bebida espirituais e vida eterna por meio do Teu Servo.

4But to us Thou didst freely give spiritual food and drink and eternal life through Thy Servant.

5Antes de tudo te damos graças porque és poderoso. A Ti a glória para sempre.

5Before all things we give thanks to Thee because Thou art mighty. To Thee be glory forever.

6Lembra-Te, Senhor, da Tua Igreja, para livrá-la de todo mal e aperfeiçoá-la no Teu amor.

6Remember, Lord, Thy Church, to deliver it from all evil and to perfect it in Thy love.

7E reúne-a dos quatro ventos, a santificada, para o Teu reino que lhe preparaste. Porque Teu é o poder e a glória para sempre.

7And gather it from the four winds, the sanctified, into Thy kingdom which Thou hast prepared for it. For Thine is the power and the glory forever.

8Venha a graça, e passe este mundo. Hosana ao Filho de Davi! Se alguém é santo, venha; se alguém não é, arrependa-se. Maranata! Amém.

8Let grace come, and let this world pass away. Hosanna to the Son of David! If anyone is holy, let him come; if anyone is not, let him repent. Maranatha! Amen.

9Mas permiti aos profetas dar graças quanto quiserem.

9But permit the prophets to give thanks as much as they wish.
