Atos de Paulo 9

1A graça do Senhor andará comigo até que eu tenha cumprido com paciência todas as dispensações que hão de vir sobre mim. Mas eles estavam entristecidos e jejuavam. E Cleóbio estava no Espírito e lhes disse: Irmãos, o Senhor permitirá que Paulo cumpra toda dispensação e, depois disso, permitirá que ele suba a Jerusalém. Mas em seguida estará ele em muita instrução, e conhecimento, e semeadura da palavra, de modo que os homens terão inveja dele, e assim ele partirá deste mundo. Mas quando Paulo e os irmãos ouviram isto, levantaram as suas vozes em oração.

1The grace of the Lord will walk with me until I have fulfilled all the dispensations which shall come upon me with patience. But they were sorrowful, and fasted. And Cleobius was in the Spirit and said unto them: Brethren, the Lord will suffer Paul to fulfil every dispensation and thereafter will suffer him to go up to Jerusalem. But thereafter shall he be in much instruction and knowledge and sowing of the word, so that men shall envy him, and so he shall depart out of this world. But when Paul and the brethren heard this, they lifted up their voices in prayer.

2E o Espírito veio sobre Mirte, de maneira que ela lhes disse: Irmãos, olhai para este sinal, porquanto Paulo, o servo do Senhor, salvará a muitos em Roma, de sorte que não haverá número deles, e ele se manifestará mais do que todos os fiéis. Depois disso, uma grande graça do Senhor Jesus Cristo virá sobre Roma. E foi deste modo que o Espírito falou a Mirte. E cada um tomou o pão, e estavam em regozijo, segundo o costume do jejum, louvando ao Senhor com os salmos de Davi.

2And the Spirit came upon Myrte so that she said unto them: Brethren, look upon this sign, that for Paul the servant of the Lord shall save many in Rome, so that of them shall be no number, and he will manifest himself more than all the faithful. Thereafter shall a great grace of the Lord Jesus Christ come at Rome. And this is the manner wherein the Spirit spake unto Myrte. And every one took the bread, and they were in joy, according to the custom of the fast, praising the Lord with the psalms of David.
