3Desde a descida da presença de nosso Salvador Jesus Cristo, o pastor, professor e médico infatigável, benevolente e poderoso, contemplei e vi o mistério inefável, santo e imaculado dos cristãos, que mantêm a esperança na santidade e que foram selados; e como O servi zelosamente, considerei necessário dar conta dos mistérios que ouvi e vi.

3Since from the descent of the presence of our Saviour Jesus Christ, the unwearied and benevolent and mighty Shepherd and Teacher and Physician, I beheld and saw the ineffable and holy and unspotted mystery of the Christians, who hold the hope in holiness, and who have been sealed; and since I have zealously served Him, I have deemed it necessary to give account of the mysteries which I have heard and seen.

4Eu, João, acompanhando os santos apóstolos Barnabé e Paulo, sendo anteriormente servo de Cirilo, sumo sacerdote de Júpiter, mas agora tendo recebido o dom do Espírito Santo por meio de Paulo, Barnabé e Silas, que eram dignos da chamada, e que me batizaram em Icônio.

4I John, accompanying the holy apostles Barnabas and Paul, being formerly a servant of Cyrillus the high priest of Jupiter, but now having received the gift of the Holy Spirit through Paul and Barnabas and Silas, who were worthy of the calling, and who baptized me in Iconium.

5Depois que fui batizado, vi um certo homem vestido de branco; e ele me disse: Tem bom ânimo, João, pois certamente o teu nome será mudado para Marcos, e a tua glória será proclamada em todo o mundo.

5After I was baptized, then, I saw a certain man standing clothed in white raiment; and he said to me: Be of good courage, John, for assuredly thy name shall be changed to Mark, and thy glory shall be proclaimed in all the world.

6E as trevas que há em ti passaram de ti, e foi-te dado entendimento para conheceres os mistérios de Deus.

6And the darkness in thee has passed away from thee, and there has been given to thee understanding to know the mysteries of God.

7E quando tive a visão, ficando muito aterrorizado, fui aos pés de Barnabé e contei-lhe os mistérios que tinha visto e ouvido daquele homem.

7And when I saw the vision, becoming greatly terrified, I went to the feet of Barnabas, and related to him the mysteries which I had seen and heard from that man.

8E o apóstolo Paulo não estava presente quando revelei os mistérios.

8And the Apostle Paul was not by when I disclosed the mysteries.

9E Barnabé me disse: Não conte a ninguém o milagre que você viu.

9And Barnabas said to me: Tell no one the miracle which thou hast seen.

10Porque também esta noite o Senhor esteve ao meu lado, dizendo: Tem bom ânimo; pois assim como entregaste a tua vida pelo meu nome à morte e ao banimento da tua nação, assim também serás aperfeiçoado.

10For by me also this night the Lord stood, saying, Be of good courage: for as thou hast given thy life for my name to death and banishment from thy nation, thus also shalt thou be made perfect.

11Além disso, quanto ao servo que está contigo, leva-o também contigo; pois ele tem certos mistérios.

11Moreover, as for the servant who is with you, take him also with thyself; for he has certain mysteries.

12Agora, então, meu filho, guarde para si as coisas que você viu e ouviu; pois chegará um tempo para você revelá-los.

12Now then, my child, keep to thyself the things which thou hast seen and heard; for a time will come for thee to reveal them.

13E eu, tendo sido instruído por ele nestas coisas, fiquei muitos dias em Icônio; porque havia ali um homem santo e piedoso, que também nos recebia, cuja casa também Paulo havia santificado.

13And I, having been instructed in these things by him, remained in Iconium many days; for there was there a holy man and a pious, who also entertained us, whose house also Paul had sanctified.

14Dali, portanto, chegamos a Selêucia e, depois de ficarmos três dias, navegamos para Chipre; e eu estava ministrando a eles até que percorremos todo Chipre.

14Thence, therefore, we came to Seleucia, and after staying three days sailed away to Cyprus; and I was ministering to them until we had gone round all Cyprus.

15E zarpando de Chipre, desembarcamos em Perge da Panfília.

15And setting sail from Cyprus, we landed in Perga of Pamphylia.

16E lá fiquei cerca de dois meses, desejando navegar para as regiões do Ocidente; e o Espírito Santo não me permitiu.

16And there I then stayed about two months, wishing to sail to the regions of the West; and the Holy Spirit did not allow me.

17Voltando-me, portanto, procurei novamente os apóstolos; e sabendo que estavam em Antioquia, fui ter com eles.

17Turning, therefore, I again sought the apostles; and having learned that they were in Antioch, I went to them.

18E encontrei Paulo na cama em Antioquia, devido ao trabalho árduo da viagem, que também me viu e ficou muito triste por causa da minha demora na Panfília.

18And I found Paul in bed in Antioch from the toil of the journey, who also seeing me, was exceedingly grieved on account of my delaying in Pamphylia.

19E vindo Barnabé, encorajou-o, e provou o pão, e ele comeu um pouco.

19And Barnabas coming, encouraged him, and tasted bread, and he took a little of it.

20E eles pregaram a palavra do Senhor e iluminaram muitos judeus e gregos.

20And they preached the word of the Lord, and enlightened many of the Jews and Greeks.

21E eu apenas cuidava deles e tinha medo de que Paulo se aproximasse dele, tanto porque ele me considerava como tendo passado muito tempo na Panfília, quanto porque estava bastante furioso comigo.

21And I only attended to them, and was afraid of Paul to come near him, both because he held me as having spent much time in Pamphylia, and because he was quite enraged against me.

22E eu dei arrependimento de joelhos na terra a Paulo, e ele não suportou isso.

22And I gave repentance on my knees upon the earth to Paul, and he would not endure it.

23E quando permaneci de joelhos por três sábados em súplica e oração, não consegui persuadi-lo sobre mim mesmo; pois sua grande queixa contra mim foi por eu ter guardado vários pergaminhos na Panfília.

23And when I remained for three Sabbaths in entreaty and prayer on my knees, I was unable to prevail upon him about myself; for his great grievance against me was on account of my keeping several parchments in Pamphylia.

24E quando aconteceu que terminaram de ensinar em Antioquia, no primeiro dia da semana eles se reuniram em conselho para partirem para os lugares do Oriente, e depois disso irem para Chipre, e supervisionarem todas as igrejas nas quais eles haviam pregado a palavra de Deus.

24And when it came to pass that they finished teaching in Antioch, on the first of the week they took counsel together to set out for the places of the East, and after that to go into Cyprus, and oversee all the churches in which they had spoken the word of God.

25E Barnabé rogou a Paulo que fosse primeiro a Chipre e supervisionasse os seus na sua aldeia; e Lúcio implorou-lhe que assumisse a supervisão de sua cidade, Cirene.

25And Barnabas entreated Paul to go first to Cyprus, and oversee his own in his village; and Lucius entreated him to take the oversight of his city Cyrene.

26E Paulo teve uma visão durante o sono, para que se apressasse a Jerusalém, porque os irmãos o esperavam ali.

26And a vision was seen by Paul in sleep, that he should hasten to Jerusalem, because the brethren expected him there.

27Mas Barnabé insistiu que fossem a Chipre e passassem o inverno, e depois fossem a Jerusalém para a festa.

27But Barnabas urged that they should go to Cyprus, and pass the winter, and then that they should go to Jerusalem at the feast.

28Grande discórdia, portanto, surgiu entre eles.

28Great contention, therefore, arose between them.

29E Barnabé instou-me também a acompanhá-los, por ter sido seu servo desde o início, e por tê-los servido em todo Chipre até que chegaram a Perge da Panfília; e eu fiquei ali muitos dias.

29And Barnabas urged me also to accompany them, on account of my being their servant from the beginning, and on account of my having served them in all Cyprus until they came to Perga of Pamphylia; and I there had remained many days.

30Mas Paulo clamou contra Barnabé, dizendo: É impossível que ele vá conosco.

30But Paul cried out against Barnabas, saying: It is impossible for him to go with us.

31E aqueles que estavam conosco lá me incentivaram também a acompanhá-los, porque havia um voto sobre mim de segui-los até o fim.

31And those who were with us there urged me also to accompany them, because there was a vow upon me to follow them to the end.

32De modo que Paulo disse a Barnabé: Se queres levar contigo João, que também tem o sobrenome Marcos, vai por outro caminho; pois ele não virá conosco.

32So that Paul said to Barnabas: If thou wilt take John who also is surnamed Mark with thee, go another road; for he shall not come with us.

33E Barnabé, voltando a si, disse: A graça de Deus não abandona aquele que uma vez serviu o Evangelho e caminhou connosco.

33And Barnabas coming to himself, said: The grace of God does not desert him who has once served the Gospel and journeyed with us.

34Se, portanto, isto for do seu agrado, Padre Paul, eu o pego e vou.

34If, therefore, this be agreeable to thee, Father Paul, I take him and go.

35E ele disse: Vai tu na graça de Cristo, e nós no poder do Espírito.

35And he said: Go thou in the grace of Christ, and we in the power of the Spirit.

36Portanto, dobrando os joelhos, oraram a Deus.

36Therefore, bending their knees, they prayed to God.

37E Paulo, gemendo em voz alta, chorou, e da mesma maneira também Barnabé, dizendo uns aos outros: Teria sido bom para nós, como antes, e também finalmente, trabalharmos em comum entre os homens; mas como assim te pareceu bem, Padre Paulo, rogai por mim para que meu trabalho se torne perfeito e louvável: pois tu sabes como te servi também pela graça de Cristo que te foi dada.

37And Paul, groaning aloud, wept, and in like manner also Barnabas, saying to one another: It would have been good for us, as at first, so also at last, to work in common among men; but since it has thus seemed good to thee, Father Paul, pray for me that my labour may be made perfect to commendation: for thou knowest how I have served thee also to the grace of Christ that has been given to thee.

38Pois vou para Chipre e apresso-me a ser aperfeiçoado; pois sei que não verei mais a tua face, ó Padre Paulo.

38For I go to Cyprus, and hasten to be made perfect; for I know that I shall no more see thy face, O Father Paul.

39E caindo no chão a seus pés, ele chorou muito.

39And falling on the ground at his feet, he wept long.

40E Paulo lhe disse: O Senhor também esteve comigo esta noite, dizendo: Não obrigues Barnabé a não ir a Chipre, porque lá está preparado para ele iluminar a muitos; e tu também, na graça que te foi dada, vai a Jerusalém para adorar no lugar santo, e lá te será mostrado onde o teu martírio foi preparado.

40And Paul said to him: The Lord stood by me also this night, saying, Do not force Barnabas not to go to Cyprus, for there it has been prepared for him to enlighten many; and do thou also, in the grace that has been given to thee, go to Jerusalem to worship in the holy place, and there it shall be shown thee where thy martyrdom has been prepared.

41E nós nos saudamos, e Barnabé me levou para si.

41And we saluted one another, and Barnabas took me to himself.

42E, tendo descido a Laodicéia, procuramos passar para Chipre; e tendo encontrado um navio que ia para Chipre, embarcamos.

42And having come down to Laodiceia, we sought to cross to Cyprus; and having found a ship going to Cyprus, we embarked.

43E quando zarpamos, descobriu-se que o vento era contrário.

43And when we had set sail, the wind was found to be contrary.

44E chegamos a Corasium; e, tendo descido até à margem onde havia uma fonte, ali descansamos, sem nos mostrarmos a ninguém, para que ninguém soubesse que Barnabé se tinha separado de Paulo.

44And we came to Corasium; and having gone down to the shore where there was a fountain, we rested there, showing ourselves to no one, that no one might know that Barnabas had separated from Paul.

45E tendo zarpado de Corasium, chegamos às regiões de Isauria, e de lá chegamos a uma certa ilha chamada Pityusa; e vindo uma tempestade, permanecemos ali três dias; e nos hospedou um certo homem piedoso, chamado Eufemo, a quem também Barnabé instruiu em muitas coisas na fé, com toda a sua casa.

45And having set sail from Corasium, we came to the regions of Isauria, and thence came to a certain island called Pityusa; and a storm having come on, we remained there three days; and a certain pious man entertained us, by name Euphemus, whom also Barnabas instructed in many things in the faith, with all his house.

46E daí navegamos passando pelas Aconésias e chegamos à cidade de Anemurium; e entrando nela, encontramos dois gregos.

46And thence we sailed past the Aconesiae, and came to the city of Anemurium; and having gone into it, we found two Greeks.

47E vindo até nós, perguntaram de onde e quem éramos.

47And coming to us, they asked whence and who we were.

48E Barnabé disse-lhes: Se quereis saber de onde e quem somos, joguem fora as roupas que vocês têm, e eu vestirei vocês com roupas que nunca fiquem sujas; pois não há nele nada de imundo, mas é totalmente esplêndido.

48And Barnabas said to them: If you wish to know whence and who we are, throw away the clothing which you have, and I shall put on you clothing which never becomes soiled; for neither is there in it anything filthy, but it is altogether splendid.

49E admirados com esta palavra, perguntaram-nos: Que roupa é essa que nos vais dar? E Barnabé lhes disse: Se confessares os teus pecados e te submeteres a nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, recebereis aquela veste que é incorruptível para sempre.

49And being astonished at the saying, they asked us: What is that garment which you are going to give us? And Barnabas said to them: If you shall confess your sins, and submit yourselves to our Lord Jesus Christ, you shall receive that garment which is incorruptible for ever.

50E, picados no coração pelo Espírito Santo, prostraram-se a seus pés, suplicando e dizendo: Rogamos-te, pai, dá-nos essa roupa; pois cremos no Deus vivo e verdadeiro que tu proclamas.

50And being pricked at heart by the Holy Spirit, they fell at his feet, entreating and saying: We beseech thee, father, give us that garment; for we believe in the living and true God whom thou proclaimest.

51E conduzindo-os até a fonte, batizou-os em nome do Pai, e do Filho, e do Espírito Santo.

51And leading them down to the fountain, he baptized them into the name of Father, and Son, and Holy Ghost.

52E eles sabiam que estavam vestidos com poder e com um manto sagrado.

52And they knew that they were clothed with power, and a holy robe.

53E, tendo tirado de mim um manto, vestiu-o; e seu próprio manto ele vestiu o outro.

53And having taken from me one robe, he put it on the one; and his own robe he put on the other.

54E trouxeram-lhe dinheiro, e imediatamente Barnabé o distribuiu aos pobres.

54And they brought money to him, and straightway Barnabas distributed it to the poor.

55E deles também os marinheiros puderam ganhar muitas coisas.

55And from them also the sailors were able to gain many things.

56E eles, descendo à praia, falou-lhes a palavra de Deus; e ele os abençoou, nós os saudamos e embarcamos no navio.

56And they having come down to the shore, he spoke to them the word of God; and he having blessed them, we saluted them, and went on board the ship.

57E aquele que se chamava Estéfano quis acompanhar-nos, mas Barnabé não o permitiu.

57And the one of them who was named Stephanus wished to accompany us, and Barnabas did not permit him.

58E nós, tendo atravessado, navegamos de noite para Chipre; e chegando ao lugar chamado Crommyacita, encontramos Timon e Ariston, os servos do templo, em cuja casa também fomos recebidos.

58And we, having gone across, sailed down to Cyprus by night; and having come to the place called Crommyacita, we found Timon and Ariston the temple servants, at whose house also we were entertained.

59E Timão estava acometido de muita febre.

59And Timon was afflicted by much fever.

60E, impondo-lhe as mãos, imediatamente lhe tiramos a febre, invocando o nome do Senhor Jesus.

60And having laid our hands upon him, we straightway removed his fever, having called upon the name of the Lord Jesus.

61E Barnabé recebeu de Mateus documentos, um livro da palavra de Deus e uma narrativa de milagres e doutrinas.

61And Barnabas had received documents from Matthew, a book of the word of God, and a narrative of miracles and doctrines.

62Este Barnabé colocou sobre os enfermos em cada lugar que íamos, e imediatamente curou seus sofrimentos.

62This Barnabas laid upon the sick in each place that we came to, and it immediately made a cure of their sufferings.

63E quando chegamos a Lapitus, e um festival de ídolos estava sendo celebrado no teatro, eles não nos deixaram entrar na cidade, mas descansamos um pouco no portão.

63And when we had come to Lapithus, and an idol festival being celebrated in the theatre, they did not allow us to go into the city, but we rested a little at the gate.

64E o Timão, depois que se recuperou da doença, veio conosco.

64And Timon, after he rose up from his disease, came with us.

65E tendo saído de Lapitus, viajamos pelas montanhas e chegamos à cidade de Lampadisto, da qual também Timão era nativo; além de quem, tendo descoberto também que Heráclio estava lá, fomos recebidos por ele.

65And having gone forth from Lapithus, we travelled through the mountains, and came to the city of Lampadistus, of which also Timon was a native; in addition to whom, having found also that Heracleius was there, we were entertained by him.

66Ele era da cidade de Tamasus e veio visitar seus parentes; e Barnabé, olhando fixamente para ele, reconheceu-o, tendo-o encontrado anteriormente em Citium com Paulo; a quem também foi dado o Espírito Santo no batismo, e ele mudou seu nome para Heracleides.

66He was of the city of Tamasus, and had come to visit his relations; and Barnabas, looking stedfastly at him, recognised him, having met with him formerly at Citium with Paul; to whom also the Holy Spirit was given at baptism, and he changed his name to Heracleides.

67E tendo-o ordenado bispo de Chipre, e tendo confirmado a igreja em Tamasus, nós o deixamos na casa de seus irmãos que ali moravam.

67And having ordained him bishop over Cyprus, and having confirmed the church in Tamasus, we left him in the house of his brethren that dwelt there.

68E tendo atravessado a montanha chamada Chionodes, chegamos à Velha Paphos, e lá encontramos Rhodon, um servo do templo, que também, tendo acreditado, nos acompanhou.

68And having crossed the mountain called Chionodes, we came to Old Paphos, and there found Rhodon, a temple servant, who also, having himself believed, accompanied us.

69E encontramos um certo judeu, de nome Barjesus, vindo de Pafos, que também reconheceu Barnabé, como tendo estado anteriormente com Paulo.

69And we met a certain Jew, by name Barjesus, coming from Paphos, who also recognised Barnabas, as having been formerly with Paul.

70Ele não queria que fôssemos para Paphos; mas, tendo nos afastado, chegamos a Curium.

70He did not wish us to go into Paphos; but having turned away, we came to Curium.

71E descobrimos que uma certa corrida abominável estava sendo realizada na estrada perto da cidade, onde uma multidão de mulheres e homens nus participavam da corrida.

71And we found that a certain abominable race was being performed in the road near the city, where a multitude of women and men naked were performing the race.

72E houve grande engano e erro naquele lugar.

72And there was great deception and error in that place.

73E Barnabé, voltando-se, repreendeu-o; e a parte ocidental caiu, de modo que muitos ficaram feridos, e muitos deles também morreram e os demais fugiram para o templo de Apolo, que ficava perto da cidade, que era chamada de sagrada.

73And Barnabas turning, rebuked it; and the western part fell, so that many were wounded, and many of them also died and the rest fled to the temple of Apollo, which was close at hand in the city, which was called sacred.

74E quando nos aproximamos do templo, uma grande multidão de judeus que ali estavam, instigados por Barjesus, ficaram fora da cidade e não nos deixaram entrar na cidade; mas passamos a noite debaixo de uma árvore perto da cidade e descansamos lá.

74And when we came near the temple, a great multitude of Jews who were there, having been put up to it by Barjesus, stood outside of the city, and did not allow us to go into the city; but we spent the evening under a tree near the city, and rested there.

75E no dia seguinte chegamos a uma certa aldeia onde morava Aristocliano.

75And on the following day, we came to a certain village where Aristoclianus dwelt.

76Sendo ele leproso, foi purificado em Antioquia, a quem também Paulo e Barnabé selaram para ser bispo, e enviado para sua aldeia em Chipre, porque ali havia muitos gregos.

76He being a leper, had been cleansed in Antioch, whom also Paul and Barnabas sealed to be a bishop, and sent to his village in Cyprus, because there were many Greeks there.

77E fomos recebidos por ele na caverna na montanha, e lá permanecemos um dia.

77And we were entertained in the cave by him in the mountain, and there we remained one day.

78E daí chegamos a Amathus e havia uma grande multidão de gregos no templo na montanha, mulheres e homens baixos derramando libações.

78And thence we came to Amathus and there was a great multitude of Greeks in the temple in the mountain, low women and men pouring libations.

79Ali também Barjesus, ficando à frente de nós, venceu a nação dos judeus e não nos permitiu entrar na cidade; mas uma certa viúva, de oitenta anos, estando fora da cidade, e também não adorando ídolos, aproximando-se de nós, levou-nos uma hora à sua casa.

79There also Barjesus, getting the start of us, gained over the nation of the Jews, and did not allow us to enter into the city; but a certain widow woman, eighty years old, being outside of the city, and she also not worshipping the idols, coming forward to us, took us into her house one hour.

80E quando saímos sacudimos a poeira dos pés naquele templo onde aconteceu a libação dos abomináveis.

80And when we came out we shook the dust off our feet over against that temple where the libation of the abominable took place.

81E tendo saído dali, passamos por lugares desertos, e Timão também nos acompanhou.

81And having gone out thence, we came through desert places, and Timon also accompanied us.

82E tendo chegado a Cítio, e havendo ali também um grande alvoroço no seu hipódromo, tendo sabido disso, saímos da cidade, tendo todos sacudido a poeira dos nossos pés; pois ninguém nos recebeu, exceto que descansamos uma hora na porta perto do aqueduto.

82And having come to Citium, and there being a great uproar there also in their hippodrome, having learned this, we came forth out of the city, having all shaken the dust off our feet; for no one received us, except that we rested one hour in the gate near the aqueduct.

83E tendo zarpado de Cítio num navio, chegamos a Salamina e desembarcamos nas chamadas ilhas, onde havia um lugar cheio de ídolos; e ali aconteciam grandes festas e libações.

83And having set sail in a ship from Citium, we came to Salamis, and landed in the so-called islands, where there was a place full of idols; and there there took place high festivals and libations.

84E tendo encontrado Heracleides lá novamente, nós o instruímos a proclamar o Evangelho de Deus e a estabelecer igrejas e ministros nelas.

84And having found Heracleides there again, we instructed him to proclaim the Gospel of God, and to set up churches, and ministers in them.

85E, tendo entrado em Salamina, chegamos à sinagoga, perto do lugar chamado Biblia; e quando começamos, Barnabé, tendo desenrolado o Evangelho que havia recebido de Mateus, seu colaborador, começou a ensinar os judeus.

85And having gone into Salamis, we came to the synagogue near the place called Biblia; and when we had gone into it, Barnabas, having unrolled the Gospel which he had received from Matthew his fellow-labourer, began to teach the Jews.

86E Barjesus, tendo chegado depois de dois dias, depois de não poucos judeus terem sido instruídos, ficou furioso e reuniu toda a multidão dos judeus; e tendo agarrado Barnabé, quiseram entregá-lo a Hipácio, governador de Salamina.

86And Barjesus, having arrived after two days, after not a few Jews had been instructed, was enraged, and brought together all the multitude of the Jews; and they having laid hold of Barnabas, wished to hand him over to Hypatius, the governor of Salamis.

87E, tendo-o obrigado a levá-lo ao governador, e a um piedoso jebuseu, parente de Nero, vindo a Chipre, os judeus, sabendo disso, prenderam Barnabé de noite e amarraram-no com uma corda pelo pescoço; e, tendo-o arrastado da sinagoga para o hipódromo, e saindo da cidade, rodeando-o, queimaram-no com fogo, de modo que até os seus ossos se transformaram em pó.

87And having bound him to take him away to the governor, and a pious Jebusite, a kinsman of Nero, having come to Cyprus, the Jews, learning this, took Barnabas by night, and bound him with a rope by the neck; and having dragged him to the hippodrome from the synagogue, and having gone out of the city, standing round him, they burned him with fire, so that even his bones became dust.

88E imediatamente naquela noite, tendo tirado o seu pó, lançaram-no num pano; e depois de prendê-lo com chumbo, pretendiam lançá-lo ao mar.

88And straightway that night, having taken his dust, they cast it into a cloth; and having secured it with lead, they intended to throw it into the sea.

89Mas eu, encontrando uma oportunidade durante a noite, e sendo capaz junto com Timon e Rhodon de aproveitá-la.

89But I, finding an opportunity in the night, and being able along with Timon and Rhodon to carry it.

90Chegamos a um certo lugar e, tendo encontrado uma caverna, colocamos-na ali, onde antigamente morava a nação dos jebuseus.

90we came to a certain place, and having found a cave, put it down there, where the nation of the Jebusites formerly dwelt.

93And when we were hid in the place, the Jews made no little search after us; and having almost found us, they pursued us as far as the village of the Ledrians; and we, having found there also a cave near the village, took refuge in it, and thus escaped them.

94E ficamos escondidos na caverna três dias; e tendo-se retirado os judeus, saímos e saímos do lugar durante a noite.

97And there I remained, teaching the brethren that came the word of the Lord, enlightening them, and preaching what I had been taught by the apostles of Christ, who also baptized me into the name of Father, and Son, and Holy Ghost; who also changed my name to Mark in the water of baptism, by which also I hope to bring many to the glory of God through His grace; because to Him is due honour and everlasting glory, Amen.
