Ascensão de Isaías 7

1E Isaías relatou sua visão aos profetas que estavam com ele.

1And Isaiah related his vision to the prophets who were with him.

2Eu vi um anjo radiante de glória; uma glória e um poder tão grande que me é impossível descrever.

2I saw an angel radiant with glory; a glory and power so great that it is impossible for me to describe.

3Eu disse: 'Quem és tu? E por que caminho far-me-ás subir ao céu?'

3I said: 'Who are you? And by which path will you make me ascend to heaven?'

4Ele me respondeu: 'Depois de ter-te elevado, compreenderás quem sou eu.'

4He answered me: 'After having elevated you, you will understand who I am.'

5E ele me fez subir ao firmamento, e vi Samael e seus poderes; lá estava o reino da carnificina e das obras de Satanás.

5And he made me ascend to the firmament, and I saw Samael and his powers; there was the kingdom of slaughter and the works of Satan.

6E ele me fez subir ao primeiro céu, onde vi anjos à direita e à esquerda, e um trono no meio.

6And he made me ascend to the first heaven, where I saw angels on the right and on the left, and a throne in the middle.

7E ele me fez subir ao segundo e terceiro céu, cada vez com maior glória.

7And he made me ascend to the second and third heaven, each time with greater glory.
