1E que foi predito que nosso Cristo curaria todas as doenças e ressuscitaria os mortos, ouvi o que foi dito. São estas as palavras: "Em sua vinda, o coxo saltará como um cervo, e a língua do gago falará claramente; os cegos verão, os leprosos serão purificados, e os mortos se levantarão e andarão." E que ele fez essas coisas podeis aprender dos Atos de Pôncio Pilatos. E quanto a ter sido predito pelo Espírito profético que ele e os que nele esperavam seriam mortos, ouvi o que disse Isaías. Estas são as palavras: "Eis que agora o justo perece, e ninguém leva isso a sério; homens justos são arrebatados, e ninguém considera. Da presença da perversidade é levado o justo, e sua sepultura será em paz; ele é tirado de nosso meio."

These are the words: "Behold now the righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart; and just men are taken away, and no man considereth. From the presence of wickedness is the righteous man taken, and his burial shall be in peace: he is taken from our midst."
