Apocalipse de Tomé 5

1Os espíritos e as almas dos santos sairão do Paraíso e virão para a terra inteira.

1The spirits and souls of the saints will come out of Paradise and will come to the whole earth.

2Cada um irá para o seu próprio corpo onde foi colocado; e cada um deles dirá: 'Aqui jaz o meu corpo.'

2Each one will go to its own body where it was placed; and each one of them will say: 'Here lies my body.'

3Quando a grande voz desses espíritos for ouvida haverá um terremoto por toda a parte.

3When the great voice of these spirits is heard there will be an earthquake everywhere.

4Então cada espírito voltará para seu próprio veículo e os corpos dos santos que dormem acordarão.

4Then each spirit will return to its own vessel and the bodies of the sleeping saints will awaken.

5Então eles vestirão a veste da vida eterna: a veste da nuvem de luz que nunca foi vista neste mundo.

5Then they will put on the garment of eternal life: the garment of the cloud of light that has never been seen in this world.

6Eles serão carregados pelo ar numa nuvem de luz, e se rejubilando irão comigo para os céus.

6They will be carried through the air in a cloud of light, and rejoicing they will go with me to the heavens.

7Permanecerão na luz e na honra de meu Pai. Haverá grande alegria para eles na presença de meu Pai.

7They will remain in the light and honor of my Father. There will be great joy for them in the presence of my Father.
