Apocalipse de Tomé 4

1Na quarta hora do sexto dia o firmamento do céu se partirá de leste a oeste.

1In the fourth hour of the sixth day the firmament of heaven will split from east to west.

2Os anjos dos céus espiarão a terra pelas fendas dos céus.

2The angels of heaven will peer at the earth through the rifts of the heavens.

3Todos os homens que estão na terra verão a hoste angelical olhando do Céu.

3All men who are on earth will see the angelic host looking from Heaven.

4Então todos os homens fugirão para as tumbas e se esconderão dos anjos justos.

4Then all men will flee to the tombs and hide from the righteous angels.

5Dirão: 'Oh, que a terra possa se abrir e nos engolir.'

5They will say: 'Oh, that the earth might open and swallow us.'

6Então me verão descendo de cima na luz de meu Pai com o poder e a honra dos santos anjos.

6Then they will see me descending from above in the light of my Father with the power and honor of the holy angels.

7As comportas do fogo do Paraíso serão abertas, pois o Paraíso está cercado de fogo eterno.

7The floodgates of fire of Paradise will be opened, for Paradise is surrounded by eternal fire.
