Apocalipse de Tomé 1

1Ouve, Tomé, pois eu sou o Filho de Deus Pai e sou o Pai de todos os espíritos.

1Hear, Thomas, for I am the Son of God the Father and I am the Father of all spirits.

2Ouve de mim os sinais que estarão no fim deste mundo, quando o fim do mundo será completado antes que meus eleitos saiam dele.

2Hear from me the signs that will be at the end of this world, when the end of the world will be completed before my elect go out of it.

3Os príncipes dos anjos não sabem quando acontecerão estes fatos, pois estão agora escondidos deles.

3The princes of the angels do not know when these things will happen, for they are now hidden from them.

4Então os reis dividirão o mundo entre si; haverá grande fome, grandes pestes e muitas tormentas na terra.

4Then the kings will divide the world among themselves; there will be great famine, great plagues and many storms on the earth.

5Os filhos dos homens serão feitos escravos em todas as nações e perecerão pela espada.

5The sons of men will be made slaves in all nations and will perish by the sword.

6Haverá grande desordem na terra.

6There will be great disorder on the earth.

7Quando a hora do fim se aproximar, haverá grandes sinais no céu durante sete dias.

7When the hour of the end approaches, there will be great signs in heaven for seven days.
