Apocalipse de Pedro 12

1E haverá outro lugar, muito elevado; e homens e mulheres cujos pés escorregam rolarão para baixo, num lugar onde há terror.

1And there shall be another place, very high; the men and women whose feet slip, shall go rolling down into a place where is fear.

2E enquanto flui o fogo preparado, eles sobem e caem novamente, e continuam a rolar para baixo sem cessar.

2And again while the fire that is prepared floweth, they mount up and fall down again and continue to roll down.

3Assim serão atormentados para sempre.

3Thus shall they be tormented for ever.

4Estes são os que não honraram pai e mãe e por vontade própria se afastaram deles.

4These are they that honoured not their father and mother and of their own accord withheld (withdrew) themselves from them.

5Por isso serão castigados eternamente.

5Therefore shall they be chastised eternally.

6Além disso, o anjo Ezraiel trará rapazes e moças para lhes mostrar aqueles que são atormentados.

6Furthermore the angel Ezraël shall bring children and maidens, to show them those that are tormented.

7Eles serão castigados com dores, sendo pendurados (?) e com uma multidão de feridas que aves devoradoras de carne lhes infligirão.

7They shall be chastised with pains, with hanging up (?) and with a multitude of wounds which flesh-devouring birds shall inflict upon them.

8Estes são os que se gloriavam em seus pecados, não obedeciam a seus pais, recusavam a instrução deles e não honravam os mais velhos.

8These are they that boast themselves (trust) in their sins, and obey not their parents and follow not the instruction of their fathers, and honour not them that are more aged than they.

9Ao lado deles haverá donzelas vestidas de trevas como vestimenta, e serão severamente castigadas e suas carnes serão despedaçadas.

9Beside them shall be girls clad in darkness for a garment, and they shall be sore chastised and their flesh shall be torn in pieces.

10Estas são as que não guardaram a sua virgindade até que fossem dadas em casamento; e com esses tormentos serão punidas e os sofrerão na pele.

10These are they that kept not their virginity until they were given in marriage, and with these torments shall they be punished, and shall feel them.

11E novamente outros homens e mulheres, mordendo as suas línguas sem cessar, serão atormentados com fogo eterno.

11And again, other men and women, gnawing their tongues without ceasing, and being tormented with everlasting fire.

12Estes são os servos que não obedeceram a seus senhores; e este é o julgamento deles para sempre.

12These are the servants (slaves) which were not obedient unto their masters; and this then is their judgement for ever.
