Apocalipse de Pedro 10

1Outros homens e mulheres cujas obras foram feitas em falsidade terão os seus lábios decepados; e fogo entrará na sua boca e nas suas entranhas.

1Other men and women whose works were done in deceitfulness shall have their lips cut off; and fire entereth into their mouth and their entrails.

2Estas são as falsas testemunhas (outra leitura: estes são os que fizeram os mártires morrer pelas suas mentiras).

2These are the false witnesses (al. these are they that caused the martyrs to die by their lying).

3E junto a eles, num lugar próximo, sobre a rocha haverá uma coluna de fogo, e a coluna é mais cortante do que espadas.

3And beside them, in a place near at hand, upon the stone shall be a pillar of fire, and the pillar is sharper than swords.

4E haverá homens e mulheres vestidos de farrapos e vestes imundas, e serão lançados ali, para sofrer o julgamento de um tormento que não cessa: estes são os que confiaram em suas riquezas e desprezaram as viúvas e a mulher com filhos órfãos ... diante de Deus.

4And there shall be men and women clad in rags and filthy garments, and they shall be cast thereon, to suffer the judgement of a torment that ceaseth not: these are they that trusted in their riches, and despised the widows and the woman with fatherless children . . . before God.
