Apocalipse de Paulo 9

1Responderam eles e disseram: Nós procedemos daqueles que renunciaram ao mundo por amor do teu santo nome, que andam peregrinos e nas cavernas das rochas.

1They answered and said: We proceed from those who have renounced the world for love of your holy name, who walk as pilgrims and in the caves of rocks.

2E choram a cada hora que habitam na terra, e suportam fome e sede por amor do teu nome, com os lombos presos.

2And they weep every hour that they dwell on the earth, and endure hunger and thirst for love of your name, with their loins girded.

3Segurando em suas mãos o incenso de seu coração, e orando e abençoando-te a cada hora, sofrendo angústias e se subjugando.

3Holding in their hands the incense of their heart, and praying and blessing you every hour, suffering anguish and subjugating themselves.

4Chorando e lamentando mais do que tudo que habita na terra.

4Weeping and lamenting more than all who dwell on the earth.

5E nós, os seus anjos, lamentamos com eles, e isso nos agrada.

5And we, their angels, lament with them, and this pleases us.

6Manda-nos administrar para que não façam o contrário, que permaneçam pobres mais do que todos os que habitam na terra.

6Command us to minister so that they do not do the contrary, that they remain poor more than all who dwell on the earth.

7E a voz de Deus veio até eles, dizendo: Sabei vós que desde agora a minha graça se estabelecerá convosco e minha ajuda, que é meu querido e amado filho, estará com eles no mundo.

7And the voice of God came to them, saying: Know that from now on my grace shall be established with you and my help, which is my beloved and dear son, shall be with them in the world.

8Governando-os em todo o tempo, e ele deve ministrar a eles e nunca abandoná-los, pois o lugar deles é a sua habitação.

8Ruling them at all times, and he shall minister to them and never abandon them, for their place is his habitation.
