Apocalipse de Paulo 7

1Às vezes também as águas têm apelado contra os filhos dos homens, dizendo: Ó Senhor Deus Todo-Poderoso, todos os filhos dos homens contaminaram o teu santo nome.

1Sometimes also the waters have appealed against the sons of men, saying: O Lord God Almighty, all the sons of men have defiled your holy name.

2E ouviu-se uma voz que dizia: Tudo sei, antes que aconteçam, porque os meus olhos veem, e os meus ouvidos ouvem todas as coisas.

2And a voice was heard saying: I know everything, before it happens, for my eyes see, and my ears hear all things.

3Mas a minha longanimidade leva-os consigo até que se convertam, e se não, eu os julgarei.

3But my long-suffering bears with them until they convert, and if not, I will judge them.

4Também a terra clamou ao Senhor contra os filhos dos homens, dizendo: Ó Senhor Deus Todo-Poderoso, sofro mais do que toda a tua criação.

4Also the earth cried out to the Lord against the sons of men, saying: O Lord God Almighty, I suffer more than all your creation.

5Suportando as fornicações, adultérios, assassinatos, ódios, feitiçarias de homens contra homens, e todos os males que eles fazem.

5Bearing the fornications, adulteries, murders, hatreds, sorceries of men against men, and all the evils that they do.

6Por isso sofro mais do que toda a criação, e não darei a minha excelência e os meus frutos aos filhos dos homens.

6Therefore I suffer more than all creation, and I will not give my excellence and my fruits to the sons of men.

7Autorize-me e eu destruirei a excelência dos meus frutos.

7Permit me and I will destroy the excellence of my fruits.

8E veio uma voz e disse: Eu sei todas as coisas, e não há ninguém que possa esconder-se de seu pecado.

8And a voice came and said: I know all things, and there is no one who can hide from his sin.

9E a sua impiedade eu sei, mas a minha santidade os cobra até que se convertam e se arrependam, mas se não voltarem a mim, eu os julgarei.

9And their impiety I know, but my holiness covers them until they convert and repent, but if they do not return to me, I will judge them.
