Apocalipse de Paulo 2

1Mas pela terceira vez veio o anjo e o açoitou e o obrigou a romper o fundamento.

1But for the third time the angel came and scourged him and compelled him to break up the foundation.

2E ele cavou e encontrou uma caixa de mármore com escritas nas laterais.

2And he dug and found a marble box with writing on the sides.

3Ali estava a revelação de São Paulo e seus sapatos, nos quais ele andava quando ensinava a palavra de Deus.

3There was the revelation of Saint Paul and his shoes, in which he walked when teaching the word of God.

4Mas ele temia abrir a caixa e levou ao juiz.

4But he was afraid to open the box and took it to the judge.

5E o juiz tomou, selado como era com chumbo, e enviou ao imperador Teodósio, temendo que pudesse ser algo estranho.

5And the judge took it, sealed as it was with lead, and sent it to the Emperor Theodosius, fearing that it might be something strange.

6E o imperador quando recebeu, abriu e encontrou a revelação de São Paulo.

6And the emperor when he received it, opened it and found the revelation of Saint Paul.

7Uma cópia que ele enviou para Jerusalém e o original ele manteve consigo.

7A copy he sent to Jerusalem and the original he kept with himself.
