Apocalipse de Paulo 19

1Respondeu o anjo e disse-me: Vês todas estas coisas?

1The angel answered and said to me: Do you see all these things?

2E eu disse: Sim, senhor.

2And I said: Yes, sir.

3E ele disse-me: Segue-me novamente, e eu te tomarei e mostrarei os lugares dos justos.

3And he said to me: Follow me again, and I will take you and show you the places of the righteous.

4E eu segui o anjo e ele me levou até o terceiro céu e me colocou diante da entrada de uma porta.

4And I followed the angel and he took me up to the third heaven and placed me before the entrance of a door.

5E olhei e vi, e a porta era de ouro, e havia duas colunas de ouro cheias de letras de ouro.

5And I looked and saw, and the door was of gold, and there were two golden columns full of golden letters.

6E o anjo voltou-se para mim e disse: Bem-aventurado és tu, se entrares por estas portas.

6And the angel turned to me and said: Blessed are you, if you enter through these gates.

7Porque não é permitido entrar senão aos que guardaram a bondade e a pureza dos seus corpos em todas as coisas.

7Because it is not permitted to enter except those who have kept the goodness and purity of their bodies in all things.

8E eu perguntei ao anjo e disse: Senhor, diz-me por que motivo estas letras são colocadas nestas colunas?

8And I asked the angel and said: Lord, tell me for what reason these letters are placed on these columns?

9O anjo respondeu e disse-me: Estes são os nomes dos justos que ministram a Deus de todo o coração, os quais habitam na terra.

9The angel answered and said to me: These are the names of the righteous who minister to God with all their heart, who dwell on the earth.

10E novamente eu disse: Senhor, então também os seus nomes e semblantes se assemelham àqueles que servem a Deus no céu?

10And again I said: Lord, then also their names and faces are like those who serve God in heaven?

11E eles são conhecidos dos anjos, pois eles sabem que estes de todo o coração servem a Deus antes de saírem do mundo.

11And they are known by the angels, for they know that these with all their heart serve God before they leave the world.
