Apocalipse de Paulo 13

1E eu disse ao anjo: Eu queria ver as almas dos justos e pecadores como eles se afastam do mundo.

1And I said to the angel: I would like to see the souls of the righteous and sinners as they depart from the world.

2E o anjo respondeu e disse para mim: Olhe para baixo sobre a terra.

2And the angel answered and said to me: Look down at the earth.

3E eu olhei do céu para a terra e contemplei o mundo inteiro, e isso não era nada à minha vista.

3And I looked from heaven to earth and beheld the whole world, and it was nothing in my sight.

4E vi os filhos dos homens como se fossem nada e falhando totalmente.

4And I saw the sons of men as if they were nothing and failing utterly.

5E maravilhei e me disse ao anjo: Isto que é a grandeza dos homens?

5And I marveled and said to the angel: Is this the greatness of men?

6E o anjo respondeu e disse-me: Isto é, e estes são os que se ferem desde a manhã até a tarde.

6And the angel answered and said to me: This is it, and these are those who hurt each other from morning to evening.

7E olhei, e vi uma grande nuvem de fogo espalhada por todo o mundo.

7And I looked, and I saw a great cloud of fire spread over all the world.

8E disse ao anjo: O que é isto, Senhor?

8And I said to the angel: What is this, Lord?

9E ele disse-me: Esta é a injustiça que é misturada pelos príncipes dos pecadores.

9And he said to me: This is the injustice that is mixed by the princes of sinners.
