Apocalipse de Paulo 12

1E olhei para a altura e vi outros anjos cujos rostos brilhavam como sol, e seus lombos estavam cingidos de cintas de ouro.

1And I looked at the height and saw other angels whose faces shone like the sun, and their loins were girded with golden belts.

2Segurando palmas nas mãos, e o sinal de Deus, vestido de vestes sobre as quais estava escrito o nome do Filho de Deus, cheio de toda gentileza e misericórdia.

2Holding palms in their hands, and the sign of God, clothed in garments upon which was written the name of the Son of God, full of all gentleness and mercy.

3E eu perguntei ao anjo e disse: Quem são estes, Senhor, de tanta beleza e compaixão?

3And I asked the angel and said: Who are these, Lord, of such beauty and compassion?

4E o anjo respondeu e disse-me: Estes são os anjos da justiça que são enviados para trazer as almas dos justos na hora da necessidade.

4And the angel answered and said to me: These are the angels of righteousness who are sent to bring the souls of the righteous in the hour of necessity.

5Mesmo aqueles que acreditaram que eles tinham o Senhor para o seu ajudante.

5Even those who believed that they had the Lord for their helper.

6E eu disse-lhe: Os justos e os pecadores necessariamente se encontram quando estão mortos?

6And I said to him: Do the righteous and sinners necessarily meet when they are dead?

7E o anjo respondeu e disse-me: O caminho pelo qual todos passam a Deus é um só.

7And the angel answered and said to me: The way by which all pass to God is one.
