1A que tempo se manifestou, no consulado de Teodósio Augusto, o mais jovem, e Sinegius, um homem honrado que morava em Tarso.

1At what time it was revealed, in the consulship of Theodosius Augustus the younger, and Cynegius, an honorable man who lived in Tarsus.

2Na casa que tinha sido a casa do apóstolo Paulo, um anjo apareceu a ele durante a noite e deu-lhe uma revelação, dizendo que ele deveria cavar até a fundação da casa e publicar o que ele encontrasse.

2In the house that had been the house of the apostle Paul, an angel appeared to him during the night and gave him a revelation, saying that he should dig up to the foundation of the house and publish what he found.

3Mas ele pensou que isso fosse uma visão enganosa.
