Apocalipse de Moisés 6

1E Deus disse a Eva: Porque obedeceste à serpente e não guardaste meu mandamento.

1And God said to Eve: Because you obeyed the serpent and did not keep my commandment.

2Multiplicarei tuas dores e teus gemidos.

2I will multiply your sorrows and your groans.

3Em dor darás à luz filhos e te voltarás para teu marido.

3In pain you shall bring forth children and you shall turn to your husband.

4E ele te dominará.

4And he shall rule over you.

5E disse a Adão: Porque ouviste a voz de tua mulher e comeste da árvore.

5And he said to Adam: Because you listened to the voice of your wife and ate of the tree.

6Maldita seja a terra por tua causa. Com fadiga comerás dela todos os dias de tua vida.

6Cursed be the ground because of you. With toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life.

7Espinhos e cardos ela produzirá para ti.

7Thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you.

8No suor do teu rosto comerás pão até que voltes à terra de onde foste tomado.

8In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread until you return to the ground from which you were taken.
