Apocalipse de Moisés 4

1E o Senhor Deus nos deu dois anjos para nos guardar.

1And the Lord God gave us two angels to guard us.

2Chegou a hora em que os anjos subiram para adorar diante de Deus.

2The hour came when the angels went up to worship before God.

3E o inimigo achou oportunidade e enganou vossa mãe para comer da árvore proibida.

3And the enemy found opportunity and deceived your mother to eat of the forbidden tree.

4E ela comeu e me deu, e eu também comi.

4And she ate and gave to me, and I also ate.

5E Deus ficou irado conosco.

5And God became angry with us.

6E o Senhor veio ao Paraíso e me chamou: Adão, onde estás?

6And the Lord came to Paradise and called me: Adam, where are you?

7E eu me escondi porque estava nu.

7And I hid because I was naked.

8E Deus disse: Quem te mostrou que estás nu? Comeste da árvore que te proibi?

8And God said: Who showed you that you are naked? Have you eaten of the tree I forbade you?
