Apocalipse de Moisés 25

1E voltou-se o Senhor para mim e disse: Porquanto deste ouvidos à serpente e fechaste os ouvidos ao meu mandamento, estarás em dores de parto e agonias intoleráveis; darás à luz filhos com muito tremor e em uma hora chegarás ao parto, e perderás a tua vida por causa da tua dolorosa aflição e angústia. Contudo, confessarás e dirás: Senhor, Senhor, salva-me, e não tornarei mais ao pecado da carne.

1And the Lord turned to me and said: "Since thou hast hearkened to the serpent, and turned a deaf ear to my commandment, thou shalt be in throes of travail and intolerable agonies; thou shalt bear children in much trembling and in one hour thou shalt come to the birth, and lose thy life, from thy sore trouble and anguish. But thou shalt confess and say: 'Lord, Lord, save me, and

2E por esta causa, pelas tuas próprias palavras te julgarei, por motivo da inimizade que o inimigo plantou em ti.

2I will turn no more to the sin of the flesh.' And on this account, from thine own words I will judge thee, by reason of the enmity which the enemy has planted in thee."
