1E Adão viveu novecentos e trinta anos na terra.

1And Adam lived nine hundred and thirty years on the earth.

2E ele adoeceu e chamou todos os seus filhos.

2And he became ill and called all his sons.

3E eles vieram diante dele, pois se multiplicaram grandemente sobre a terra.

3And they came before him, for they had multiplied greatly upon the earth.

4E Sete disse: Pai, o que te aflige?

4And Seth said: Father, what afflicts you?

5E Adão disse: Filho, estou doente e cheio de dor.

5And Adam said: Son, I am sick and full of pain.

6E Sete disse: Talvez desejes os frutos do Paraíso que costumavas comer?

6And Seth said: Perhaps you desire the fruits of Paradise that you used to eat?

7Eu irei e trarei para ti, se o Senhor permitir.

7I will go and bring them to you, if the Lord permits.
