Apocalipse de Esdras 7

1Onde encontrares os mortos, assinala e enterra-os, e eu te darei o primeiro lugar em minha ressurreição.

1Where you find the dead, mark and bury them, and I will give you the first place in my resurrection.

2Descansa e fica tranqüilo, meu povo, porque teu repouso há de vir.

2Rest and be still, my people, for your repose shall come.

3Boa ama, nutre teus filhos e fortalece os pés deles.

3Good nurse, nourish your children and strengthen their feet.

4Dentre os servos que te dei, nenhum se perderá, pois eu os buscarei dentre teu número.

4Of the servants I have given you, none shall perish, for I will seek them from your number.

5Não te preocupes, pois quando chegar o dia de angústia e aflição, outros chorarão e lamentarão.

5Do not worry, for when the day of distress and affliction comes, others will weep and mourn.

6Mas tu te alegrarás e terás abundância.

6But you will rejoice and have abundance.

7As nações terão ciúmes de ti, mas nada poderão fazer contra ti, diz o Senhor.

7The nations will be jealous of you, but they can do nothing against you, says the Lord.

8Minhas mãos te cobrirão, para que teus filhos não vejam o inferno.

8My hands will cover you, so that your children may not see hell.

9Alegra-te, ó mãe, tu e teus filhos, porque eu te libertarei, diz o Senhor.

9Rejoice, O mother, you and your children, for I will deliver you, says the Lord.

10Lembra-te de teus filhos que dormem, porque os tirarei das profundezas da terra.

10Remember your children who sleep, for I will bring them out from the depths of the earth.

11E mostrarei misericórdia a eles, pois sou misericordioso, diz o Senhor Todo-Poderoso.

11And I will show mercy to them, for I am merciful, says the Lord Almighty.

12Abraça teus filhos até que eu venha, e proclama-lhes misericórdia.

12Embrace your children until I come, and proclaim mercy to them.

13Porque minhas fontes transbordam e minha graça não falha.

13Because my springs overflow and my grace does not fail.

14Eu, Esdras, recebi do Senhor no monte Horeb um mandamento de ir a Israel.

14I, Esdras, received from the Lord on Mount Horeb a commandment to go to Israel.

15Mas quando cheguei a eles, rejeitaram-me e desprezaram o mandamento do Senhor.

15But when I came to them, they rejected me and despised the commandment of the Lord.

16Portanto vos digo, nações que ouvis e compreendeis: esperai vosso pastor!

16Therefore I say to you, nations who hear and understand: await your shepherd!

17Ele vos dará descanso eterno, pois ele está próximo, aquele que virá no fim do mundo.

17He will give you eternal rest, for he is near, the one who will come at the end of the world.

18Estai preparados para os galardões do reino, porque luz perpétua brilhará sobre vós por toda a eternidade.

18Be prepared for the rewards of the kingdom, because perpetual light will shine upon you for all eternity.

19Fugi da sombra deste mundo e recebei a alegria de vossa glória.

19Flee from the shadow of this world and receive the joy of your glory.

20Eu confesso abertamente meu Salvador.

20I openly confess my Savior.

21Recebei o dom que vos é confiado e alegrai-vos, dando graças àquele que vos chamou aos reinos celestiais.

21Receive the gift that is entrusted to you and rejoice, giving thanks to the one who called you to the heavenly kingdoms.

22Levantai-vos e ficai de pé, e vede quantos estão selados na festa do Senhor.

22Arise and stand, and see how many are sealed at the feast of the Lord.

23Aqueles que se afastaram da sombra deste mundo receberam vestes resplandecentes do Senhor.

23Those who have departed from the shadow of this world have received resplendent garments from the Lord.

24Recebe, ó Sião, o número completo dos teus, e encerra a lista daqueles vestidos de branco.

24Receive, O Zion, the full number of your own, and close the list of those clothed in white.

25O número de teus filhos, que desejaste, está completo; suplica a majestade do Senhor para que teu povo, que foi chamado desde o princípio, seja santificado.

25The number of your children, whom you desired, is complete; beseech the majesty of the Lord that your people, who were called from the beginning, may be sanctified.
