Apocalipse de Abraão 4

1E eu disse: Há um que é mais digno do que todos estes, que criou todas estas coisas.

1And I said: There is one who is more worthy than all these, who created all these things.

2Então eu ouvi uma voz vinda do céu, não de lábios humanos, dizendo:

2Then I heard a voice coming from heaven, not from human lips, saying:

3Abraão! Abraão! Tu buscas o Deus dos deuses, o Criador, no entendimento de teu coração. Eu sou ele.

3Abraham! Abraham! You seek the God of gods, the Creator, in the understanding of your heart. I am he.

4Sai da casa de teu pai, para que tu mesmo não sejas morto nos pecados da casa de teu pai.

4Leave the house of your father, lest you yourself be killed in the sins of your father's house.

5E eu saí, e aconteceu que quando saí da casa.

5And I went out, and it happened that when I went out of the house.

6Antes de chegar à porta do pátio, veio o som de um grande trovão.

7E caiu fogo do céu e queimou a casa junto com tudo o que nela havia.

7And fire fell from heaven and burned the house along with everything in it.

8Até o chão em uma profundidade de quarenta côvados.

8Even the ground to a depth of forty cubits.
