1E Deus disse: Olha mais abaixo e vê a imagem.

1And God said: Look further below and see the image.

2E eu olhei abaixo e vi as gerações da terra.

2And I looked below and saw the generations of the earth.

3E seus feitos, justos e iníquos.

3And their deeds, righteous and wicked.

4E vi Caim matando Abel, seu irmão.

4And I saw Cain killing Abel, his brother.

5E a terra bebendo seu sangue e o vingando.

5And the earth drinking his blood and avenging him.

6E vi a terra inteira coberta de iniquidade em corrupção e ciúme.

6And I saw the entire earth covered with iniquity in corruption and jealousy.

7E vi as guerras e os conflitos e as fomes e as pragas.

7And I saw wars and conflicts and famines and plagues.

8E vi o povo beber-se até a embriaguez.

8And I saw the people drinking themselves to drunkenness.
