4 Adão e Eva 6

1Depois começou a surgir uma linhagem de Naassom, grande entre os filhos de Judá; dele tiveram início um reino e um sacerdócio, e por ele os judeus se tornaram célebres.

1After this, there began to issue a race from Naasson, who was great among the sons of Judah; and from him began a kingdom and a priesthood, and the Jews became celebrated through him.

2Naassom gerou Salmom, e Salmom gerou Boaz de Raabe.

2Then Naasson begat Salmon, and Salmon begat Boaz of Rahab.

3Deves saber que de Boaz e Rute, a moabita, começou o reino pelo qual Ló, filho do irmão de Abraão, obteve parte [nas gerações] do reino [de Judá].

3And thou must know that from Boaz and Ruth the Moabitess, began the kingdom whereby Lot, the son of Abraham's brother, obtained a share [in the generations] of the kingdom [of Judah].

4Pois Deus não negou descendência a Ló, nem quis interrompê-la.

4For God denied not seed to Lot, neither would He cut it short.

5Pois Ló era justo, compartilhou todas as aflições de Abraão e recebeu os anjos de Deus em Sodoma e Gomorra.

5For this Lot was righteous, and shared all Abraham's troubles with him; and received the angels of God in Sodom and Gomorrah.

6Por isso Deus concedeu aos filhos de Ló participação no reino, e isso foi [contado] como justiça para Ló, o justo.

6Therefore did God give to Lot's children fellowship in the kingdom, and that was [reckoned] for righteousness unto Lot the righteous.

7Por essa razão [os filhos de Ló] foram mencionados nas genealogias do reino de Abraão e de Ló, pois Cristo nasceu da descendência deles.

7For this reason also were [Lot's children] mentioned among the genealogies of the kingdom of Abraham and of Lot; for Christ was born of their seed.

8Obede, filho de Rute, era da descendência de Ló pelo [lado] materno; Obede gerou Jessé, e Jessé gerou o rei Davi.

8Then, again, Obed, Ruth's son, was of Lot's seed, on his mother's [side]; and Obed begat Jesse; and Jesse begat David the king.

9O rei Davi gerou Salomão; todos eles descendem de Rute, a moabita.

9And king David begat Solomon; all these are of Ruth the Moabitess.

10Também Amnan, filha de [Dã], rei dos amonitas, era da descendência de Ló; o rei Salomão tomou essa filha de Dã por mulher e dela teve Roboão, que reinou depois dele.

10Again, Amnan, the daughter of [Dan], king of the Ammonites, was of Lot's seed; and Solomon the king took this daughter of Dan to wife, and had by her Rehoboam, who reigned after Solomon.

11O rei Salomão tomou muitas mulheres: 700 filhas de reis e 300 concubinas, 1.000 ao todo.

11Yet king Solomon took to himself many wives, 700 daughters of kings, 300 concubines, 1,000 in number.

12Embora Salomão tivesse tantas mulheres, nenhuma lhe deu filho homem, exceto Roboão, nascido de Amnan, filha de Dã, rei de Amom, de linhagem abençoada.

12Yet although Solomon married these many wives, they did not bare him a single male child, except Rehoboam, of Amnan, the daughter of Dan, king of Ammon; who was of a blessed race.

13Assim Deus não permitiu que a descendência dos cananeus se misturasse com a de povos estrangeiros, que Deus tornara estranhos.

13Thus, again, God would not allow the seed of Canaanites to mingle with that of strange peoples, which God had made strangers.

14Isso mostra que Cristo veio da descendência de Abraão, o pai abençoado, e de Ló, filho de seu irmão.

14And this shows that Christ came of the seed of Abraham the blessed father, and of Lot his brother's son.

15Entre as famílias dos filhos de Israel no Egito estavam Levi, Amram, Moisés, Josué e Calebe, filho de Jefoné; todos eram grandes chefes de seus povos.

15And all the families of the children of Israel in the land of Egypt were Levi, Amram, Moses, Joshua, and Caleb, the son of Jephunneh; all these were great chiefs over their peoples.
