1Disse então Deus a Noé: Sobe ao topo da arca e toca a trombeta três vezes, para que todos os animais selvagens se congreguem junto à arca.

1Then God said unto Noah, "Go upon the top of the ark and blow the trump three times, that all wild beasts gather together unto the ark."

2Porém Noé disse: Acaso os sons da trombeta alcançarão os confins da terra para reunir os animais e as aves?

2Yet Noah said, “Shall the sounds of the trump reach unto the ends of the earth to gather together the wild beasts and the birds?”

3Disse-lhe então Deus: Não sairá tão somente o som desta trombeta,

3Then God said unto him, "It is not the sound of this trump alone that shall go forth,

4mas o Meu poder a acompanhará, fazendo-a penetrar nos ouvidos das feras e das aves.

4yet My power shall go with it, to make it come into the ears of the wild beasts and of the birds.

5E quando tocares a tua trombeta, ordenarei ao Meu anjo que faça ressoar a buzina do céu; e todos esses animais se ajuntarão a ti.

5And when thou blowest thy trump, I will command My angel to blow the horn from heaven; and all these animals shall be gathered unto thee."

6Apressou-se Noé e tocou a trombeta, conforme Deus lhe havia ordenado.

6Then Noah made haste and blew the trump, as God had told him.

7Então o anjo fez soar a buzina desde o céu, de modo que a terra tremeu e todas as criaturas sobre ela estremeceram.

7Then the angel blew the horn from heaven, until the earth quaked, and all creatures on it trembled.

8Reuniram-se então todas as feras, aves e répteis à terceira hora daquele dia de sexta-feira; e todas as feras, leões e avestruzes entraram no compartimento inferior à terceira hora.

8Then all the wild beasts, birds, and creeping things were gathered together at the 3rd hour, on a Friday; when all the wild beasts, lions, and ostriches went into the lower story at the 3rd hour.

9Ao meio-dia entraram as aves e os répteis no segundo compartimento; e Noé e seus filhos subiram ao terceiro andar, à nona hora do dia.

9Then at midday, came the birds and creeping things into the middle story; and Noah and his sons went into the third story, at the 9th hour of the day.

10E tendo Noé, sua esposa, seus filhos e as esposas destes entrado no andar superior, ordenou às mulheres que habitassem no lado ocidental; enquanto Noé e seus filhos, junto ao corpo de nosso pai Adão, permaneceram no lado oriental.

10And when Noah, with his wife, his sons and their wives came into the upper story, he commanded the women to dwell on the western side; yet Noah and his sons, with the body of our father Adam, dwelt on the eastern side.
