1No ano seiscentos e sete da vida de Noé, no segundo dia do mês de Barmudeh, as águas secaram-se de sobre a terra.

1In the 607th year of Noah's life, on the second day of the month Barmudeh, the water dried from off the earth.

2E no mês seguinte, que é Gembot, no vigésimo sétimo dia dele, que foi o mesmo dia em que Noé entrara na arca, nesse mesmo dia saiu Noé da arca, em dia de domingo.

2And in the next month, which is Gembot, on the 27th day thereof, which is the day on which Noah went into the ark, on that same day did Noah also come out of the ark, on a Sunday.

3E quando Noé, sua esposa, seus filhos e as esposas deles saíram da arca, uniram-se novamente, não se separando uns dos outros;

3Yet when Noah, his wife, his sons and their wives went out of the ark, they again came together, and did not part asunder one from another;

4pois a princípio, ao entrarem na arca, os homens e as mulheres permaneceram separados, temendo Noé que convivessem maritalmente.

4at first, when they went into the ark, the men and the women remained apart, Noah fearing lest they should be together.

5Mas, findo o Dilúvio, voltaram a viver juntos, o marido com a sua mulher.

5Yet when the Flood was over, they again were together, the husband with his wife.

6Deus também enviara profunda serenidade sobre as feras e os leões que estavam na arca, e sobre as aves e os répteis, para que não se desentendessem entre si.

6God also had sent great quietness over the beasts, the lions that were in the ark, and over the birds and creeping things, not to disagree among themselves.

7Saiu então Noé da arca e construiu um altar sobre a montanha.

7Then Noah came out of the ark, and built a altar upon the mountain.

8E ali permaneceu, suplicando ao Senhor que lhe revelasse de quais animais deveria tomar para oferecer-Lhe sacrifícios.

8And he stood, and requested the Lord to show him of what sacrifices he ought to take, and bring them unto Him in offerings.

9Então Deus enviou a Sua Palavra a Noé, dizendo: Ó Noé, toma dos animais limpos e oferece-os sobre o altar diante de Mim; e deixa os demais animais saírem da arca.

9Then God sent His Word to Noah, saying, "O Noah, take of the clean kind, and offer of them upon the altar before me; and let the animals go out of the ark."

10Entrou então Noé na arca e tomou das aves limpas conforme Deus lhe ordenara, oferecendo-as em oblação sobre o altar diante do Senhor.

10Then Noah went into the ark, and took of clean birds as many as God had commanded him; and offered them up in offerings upon the altar before the Lord.
