1Quando Enos tinha novecentos anos, todos os filhos de Seth, e de Cainã, e seu primogênito, com suas esposas e filhos, reuniram-se ao seu redor, pedindo-lhe uma bênção.

1When Enos was nine hundred years old, all the children of Seth, and of Cainan, and his first-born, with their wives and children, gathered around him, asking for a blessing from him.

2Ele então orou por eles e os abençoou, e os conjurou pelo sangue de Abel, o justo, dizendo-lhes: "Que nenhum de seus filhos desça desta Montanha Sagrada, e que não façam comunhão com os filhos de Caim, o assassino."

2He then prayed over them and blessed them, and adjured them by the blood of Abel the just saying to them, "Let not one of your children go down from this Holy Mountain, and let them make no fellowship with the children of Cain the murderer."

3Então Enos chamou seu filho Cainã e disse-lhe: “Veja, ó meu filho, e coloque seu coração em seu povo, e estabeleça-o na justiça e na inocência; e fique ministrando diante do corpo de nosso pai Adão, todos os dias de sua vida”.

3Then Enos called his son Cainan and said to him, "See, 0 my son, and set thy heart on thy people, and establish them in righteousness, and in innocence; and stand ministering before the body of our father Adam, all the days of thy life."

4Depois disso, Enos descansou, aos novecentos e oitenta e cinco anos; e Cainan o feriu e o colocou na Caverna dos Tesouros à esquerda de seu pai Adão; e fez ofertas por ele, conforme o costume de seus pais.

4After this Enos entered into rest, aged nine hundred and eighty-five years; and Cainan wound him up, and laid him in the Cave of Treasures on the left of his father Adam; and made offerings for him, after the custom of his fathers.
