1 Adão e Eva 3

1Deus disse a Adão: 'Eu ordenei os dias e os anos nesta terra e tu e tua descendência deverão habitar nela.'

1God said to Adam: 'I have ordained the days and years in this earth and you and your offspring shall dwell in it.'

2'Então Eu enviarei a Palavra que te criou e à qual tu desobedeceste.'

2'Then I will send the Word that created you and which you disobeyed.'

3'Sim, a Palavra que te salvará quando os cinco dias e meio estiverem cumpridos.'

3'Yes, the Word that will save you when five days and a half are fulfilled.'

4Mas Adão não entendeu o significado, pensando que haveria somente cinco dias e meio até o fim do mundo.

4But Adam did not understand the meaning, thinking there would be only five days and a half until the end of the world.

5Deus explicou que estes eram cinco mil e quinhentos anos; e como o Um viria para salvá-lo.

5God explained that these were five thousand and five hundred years; and how the One would come to save him.

6Quando Adão passou pela árvore da qual Eva tomara do fruto, viu como ela havia ressecado.

6When Adam passed by the tree from which Eve had taken the fruit, he saw how it had dried up.

7Adão teve medo, tremeu e caiu; mas Deus, em Sua misericórdia, ergueu-o e fez esta aliança com ele.

7Adam was afraid, trembled and fell; but God, in His mercy, raised him up and made this covenant with him.
